QUESTION OF THE CHAPTER: Where are y'all from? I'm curious

It had been a couple of weeks since that night, and Spencer's feelings were growing more every day that passed. The girl had assisted them in three cases during that short period of time, and today was the start of a new one.

"Jordan will be here shortly along with Thaleia, so we will wait until they arrive to explain everything" Hotch spoke before sitting down on his chair around the table "Before they arrive, though, I would like to speak with you all about something concerning the team"

The Agents looked at each other, confused about what it might have been that their leader was so serious about.

"Is everything okay?" Penelope asked what everyone was wondering.

"Yes, everything is fine" Aaron placed his hands on top of the table "During these past few months we have been assisted by Miss Blair in variety of cases, to which she brought a different point of view that definitely helped us solve them, a lot of them faster than we would have done without her help" he stopped to look around at the team's faces "Even though she has no official preparation as a profiler, she has the talent and only needs to soften a few sharp edges to become one. So," he stopped once again.

"I would like your opinions on whether you think Miss Blair would be a good addition to this team or not" he looked at the Agents "Permanently"

"Has an offer been made?" Rossi asked before anyone had the chance to speak.

"No" he replied "I wanted to ask you guys first before making any decisions, as my point of view might be biased based on information I have on her profile and previous works"

"Would they even allow her?" this time, it was Garcia who asked the question.

Hotch sighed before speaking again "It is no secret that many agencies and departments of the government want her to be part of their team. But she might be able to persuade Jordan if she is interested in this position I would offer her. That is, if you guys want her to be part of our team"

"They're not going to let her" Garcia interrupted once again, not allowing anyone to speak "They control almost every single movement in her life, they use her skills wherever they want without caring if she wants to collaborate or not. They basically own her, for the love of God!"

"Garcia-" Emily tried to calm her down.

"No!" she shook her off "You have no idea about what her life is like. She has no control over it! What if you talk with Jordan and he actually agrees but Thaleia really doesn't want to be here? They will force her!"

The Agents stayed silent, not really knowing what to reply to the woman. None of them knew anything about the girl. Hotch merely knew about her skills and departments and cases she had helped with before joining them. He couldn't really blame Penelope for the outburst she had upon hearing what he had suggested. She was friends with the girl in question. And he knew said girl had given Garcia access to her past and her files.

"She is not an asset people can move around as they please or as they need" she said before walking out of the room, angry at herself for speaking like that and causing a scene, but also angry at the government for using her friend.
