i had been at the manor for two days now, i hadn't left my room but mrs malfoy, draco, blaise and pansy come to see me. i had a few cuts and bruises on me from when scabior got me but it was nothing that mother malfoy couldn't heal. the house elves came to me everyday to see if i wanted any food or drink to tide me over.

narcissa begged me to take a walk around the manor gardens with her and i couldn't refuse so here we were, standing in front of the fountain in the middle of their garden. " i'm so very sorry about what happened to you, my darling. i didn't even know she had sent anyone to come and get you! if i did, i would've warned you. i would show you how to leave, i would leave with you but lucius- " she rushed, looking anxious. i hugged her as she rubbed my back. " it's okay, mrs malfoy. i'm going to get out of here one way or another. and so are you " i replied as she let out a shaky breath.

we walked inside and around the ground floor of the house before we reached the grand staircase. " there's someone in the cellar who i think would be happy to see you " cissy whispered as we were about to walk back up the stairs. " i'll guard the door for you, go ". i gave her a quizzical look before she nodded and i headed down. i used my wand to try and unlock the gate but it didn't work. " narcissa, i need your wand " i whispered as she pulled it out of her pocket and threw it to me. i caught it and blew open the gate before looking around. i heard quiet sobs from around the corner; i carefully stuck my head around the corner to see and was heartbroken to see a tiny blonde girl with her knees up to her chest with her arms around them, hugging them.

" enola? are you okay? " i asked as she cautiously looked up at me. " y/n! " she cried as she got up and threw her arms around me. " come on, let's get you out of here " i said as i picked her up and carried her up to narcissa. " thank you " i said to her as she nodded and walked me up to my room. " dinner will be ready in about an hour, you're welcome to come and sit with us but don't worry if not, i'll send some up for the both of you with the elves ". she kissed me cheek before leaving me and enola in my room. " you're okay, i've got you " i soothed as enola cried into the crook of my neck. " sweetheart, what happened? ". " the crazy witch with big hair blasted a green light at max and he fell to the ground and then she took me " she hiccuped as i closed my eyes and kissed her head. " is max with mummy now? in heaven? " she asked when i didn't reply. " yes sweetheart, yeah he is " i whispered as she sniffled.

an hour had passed and dinner was currently being served downstairs. i helped enola calm down and i bathed and cleaned her; she was currently asleep in my bed. i made a rational and probably stupid decision of going down and confronting bellatrix about enola and max. i carefully shut the door behind me as i left and then made my way to the dining hall. i burst open the doors and they hit the wall. " y/n? what are you doing, love? " theo spoke up as i made my way to bellatrix. " you " i hissed, pulling my wand out and pushing it into the skin of her neck. she whimpered and tried to back away but i grabbed her hair and forced her to look at me.

" how dare you! how dare you kill max and how dare you take enola and lock her in the fucking basement! " i screamed, all of my anger coming out now. " you're disgraceful! she's a baby! a fucking child! " i screamed as she looked at me in shock. " first you and your silly little death eater friends kill her mother and then you kill her only sibling! how is that fucking fair? how was she supposed to fight back? a three year old girl who's lost everyone! she doesn't know anything! she doesn't fucking understand and you- " i broke off as i felt myself tearing up slightly but i wasn't going to let her see that. " you took everything away from her " i finished as bellatrixs' bottom lip quivered and her eyes glossed over. " ha. not so brave now, are we? itsy, bitsy, baby " i mocked as i fake pouted and pushed her head away. " now you stay away from me and family or you'll get worse than this. one day, you're going to do something to someone and you'll get what's coming to me and i hope that i'm there to see it- or even better!, i would love it if i was the one who did it " i laughed as she ducked her head down and kept it there.

" come on, love. let's get you calmed down, hey? " theo said as he wrapped an arm around my shoulders and led me out of the room. " that was bloody brilliant! did you see her face! " he laughed as we reached the stairs. " what the hell was that? " draco's voice came from behind us. i turned around and saw pansy, blaise and draco walking towards us. " i get it! she's your aunt but she deserves it. she's a right foul bitch " i said through gritted teeth as they all followed me back up to my room.

we walked in just as enola woke up. i went and sat on the bed beside her as she opened her eyes and looked up at me. " rise and shine " i whispered as she let out a little giggle. " when can we see uncle georgie and uncle freddie? ". " soon baby, when we get out of here " i replied quietly as she cheered. i turned to look at the others as draco gave me a sorry look. i gave him a quick smile and turned back to enola. theo came and sat by me as he introduced himself and the others to her. " shall we go and find you some food? " pansy asked as enola jumped into her arms. " lead the way, auntie pan pan! " enola giggled as pansy walked to the door, bouncing the little girl in her arms. " she'll be okay, we will be okay " i said to the boys, although i think i was mainly reassuring myself.
