a/n; sorry this chapter is so short, I had a hard time filling in the blanks between what happened in the last chapter and future events.

Hotch drove over to Evelyn's house going as fast as the speed limit allowed. once he was there he knocked on the door, Evelyn opening the door. "thanks for coming." she said as she let him in, closing and locking the door behind him. once he was caught up on what was happening h sat on the couch, trying to figure out what to do. "you need to find somewhere else to go. stay at someone's house. it's not safe here." hotch suggests. "she can stay with me." Spencer pipes up, hotch nodding. "is that okay with you, Evelyn?" hotch asks, looking at her. Evelyn nods softly. "how long would I need to pack for?" she asks. "as much as you want. you can always come back here for some of your stuff." Spencer says. "just as long as you are with someone. got it?" hotch says sternly, as if reprimanding his teenage daughter. "okay dad." she nods, half joking. "I'll let that slide this once." hotch softly laughs Evelyn laughs softly, going to her room and packing a week's worth of clothes and other stiff she would need. she walked out to the living room, hotch and Spencer making themselves at home, Spencer laying on her couch with his feet up on it, shoes still on, knowing she hated it, and hotch raiding her pantry. "SPENCER WALTER RIED GET YOUR NASTY ASS SHOES OFF MY COUCH!" Evelyn exclaimed as she saw the sight, making both hotch and Spencer jump, Spencer falling off the couch and hotch spilling the trail-mix he had found. Spencer immediately jumped up, Evelyn fake groaning as she noticed the trail-mix hotch had spilled. "if I get bugs, you're the one getting rid of them." she sternly says, waving a finger in his face. he nods, cleaning it up. in the very short time they had known each other, hotch and Evelyn had become great friends, having a slight father daughter bond. but the cool dad (obviously). "ready to go?" Spencer asks, picking up her bag. "yea." she nods. "can I keep this trail-mix?" hotch asks. Evelyn laughs softly, shaking her head and playfully rolling her eyes. "sure, knock yourself out." she laughs. hotch nods, walking them out, Evelyn turning off all the lights, making sure everything was locked inside before locking the front door. "when can I move back in?" she asks. "soon." hotch says. 'soon' couldn't come soon enough.
