evelyn woke up, groaning as it was way too early to be up, yet her alarm was going off. she rolls away from spencer, turning off the alarm. "good morning." spencer says, morning voice very apparent. "don't think we're back to normal now. this was a one time thing." she says, yet she lays her head back on his chest, running circles on it as he played with her hair. spencer laughs softly at the action, but obviously not minding it. "shut up." evelyn says playfully, burying her face in his chest. soon there was a knock at the door evelyn telling spencer not to move. she opens the door, revealing emily. "hey, i know you're not on speaking terms with him, but do you happen to know where reid is? he's not in his room and he left all of his stuff in there." emily says. evelyn laughs softly, opening the door wider so she could see spencer laying in the bed. spencer waves at emily, laughing softly. "so i see you two made up?" emily says. "yea." spencer says from the bed. "no." evelyn corrects him. "just couldn't sleep is all." evelyn continues. emily nods. "okay, well you two better get dressed, we gotta go to the precinct soon." emily says. evelyn nods closing the door, emily going back to her and jj's room. "did you find him?" jj asks, a tinge of worry in her voice. "he's in evelyn's room." she says with a slight laugh. "oh?" jj says slightly confused. "evelyn said they couldn't sleep. how that resulted in spencer ending up in her room, i have no idea." emily says. "i think they were about to call a search party for you." evelyn says, spencer standing up, walking over to evelyn and wrapping his arms around her. evelyn immediately tensed up, still a little on edge around him. "spencer." she says in a warning tone as if to tell him 'let go of me.' "you're okay. you're safe. i promise." he says genuinely. evelyn loosens up, hesitantly wrapping her arms around him. "i'm sorry." spencer says softly. "i know. but that doesn't change the fact that it still happened." evelyn says, looking up at him. "i know and i feel terrible. i promise you i will never ever do anything to hurt you again." spencer says. "spencer." evelyn sighs, laying her head on his chest, listing to his heartbeat for a few seconds before speaking. "it took one second for you to flip that little switch in your brain. after what? almost 35 years of you being the most gentle person with me to throwing me against the wall. so hard, might i add, i had a concussion, multiple bruises that are still there by the way, and i had to get stitches. who's to say that won't happen again?" evelyn sighs. "spencer, i love you but-" evelyn says, cutting herself off with a sigh. "but you don't want to be with me anymore." spencer finishes sadly. "bold of you to assume that." evelyn says, pulling away from him, going over to her backpack and pulling out her engagement ring. "you brought it?" spencer asks. "of course i did. i was wearing it yesterday. i'm still marrying you spencer, i didn't have a crush on you since i was 10 for nothing." she says, making spencer laugh. "wait what? you've liked me since you were 10?" spencer says. "spencer, babe, love of my life, we've had this conversation before. i thought you had an eidetic memory?" evelyn says. "i do." spencer says simply. evelyn sighs, slipping the ring on her finger. "go get changed, we gotta go soon." she says softly, cupping his cheeks with her hands and he wraps his arms around her waist. "i love you." spencer says softly. "i know. i love you too." evelyn replies, kissing him softly, the first kiss in two weeks. spencer kisses her back, kissing her again when she pulled away. "spence, c'mon, we can't kiss all day." evelyn says softly, pulling away from him. "says who?" he asks. "says the unsub. he's not gonna stop just because we're piecing our relationship back together." she says, getting ready for the day. "fine." he sighs like a little kid, evelyn laughing as he left. he goes back to his room knocking on the door. "rossi i left my key in there, let me in." spencer says. "what's the password?" rossi calls from inside. "pasta." spencer says. "nope, but i'll take it." rossi says, opening the door and letting him in, walking out as spencer got ready. soon everyone except spencer and evelyn were in the lobby, eating breakfast. spencer came down about five minutes later, grabbing some cereal and a carton of milk since all the other food was accessible to everyone. evelyn comes down 5 minutes after him, getting a plate filled with food, placing it next to spencer before going back and getting a full 2nd plate of food. she comes back, placing the plate down before going to get a drink before coming back and sitting next to spencer. "damn evelyn, who's all that food for?" jj asks. "me?" evelyn says confused as if having two full plates of food was normal. "and you're going to eat all of that?" emily asks. "i plan on it, yea." evelyn says, beginning to eat. she did indeed finish both her plates, throwing her trash away as if it was normal. "the only other times i've seen you eat that much was when you were pregnant." jj says, everyone darting their eyes to evelyn. jj gasps, realizing. "oh my god, are you pregnant?" jj asks. evelyn laughs. "no, i'm not pregnant." she says. "then how do you explain having two plates." luke says. "i'm eating for two." she says simply. "so you are pregnant?" matt says, obviously confused. "spencer's the second one. since he doesn't like group foods." she says. "that doesn't make sense. how-" spencer says, evelyn cutting him off. "it's a joke, spence. i don't know why i ate so much, i was just hungry." evelyn says. "huh." emily says, raising an eyebrow. "well, let's go catch this bastard." emily says, getting up once everyone was done eating.
