today was finally the day. march 9th. the day spencer and evelyn were getting married. spencer ended up staying with derek, having a blast now 4-year-old hank. "good morning" spencer said to evelyn over the phone. evelyn wanted to facetime, but he took the whole 'it's bad luck if you see each other before the wedding' way too seriously. "good morning my love." evelyn replies, pouring herself some cereal. "i miss you already." she continues. "clingy much?" spencer jokes. "oh shut up." evelyn laughs, rolling her eyes playfully. "you'll see me later." he said. "yea at 4. it's only 8 right now." she complained. "oh boohoo, you've been without me for longer." spencer said. "i don't see your point." she says, knowing he was right. "my point is, you can wait. then we'll spend way too much time together and you're going to be sick of me." he says. "i don't think i could ever be sick of you." evelyn said, smiling to herself. "i can hear that smile." spencer says, smiling as well. "i can hear yours too." evelyn replies. "i'd be concerned if you didn't!" derek calls from the background, making evelyn laugh. "go do whatever you need to do. i love you." evelyn says. "i love you too bye." spencer replies. "bye." she says as she hangs up, going about her day.

"evelyn you're glowing and nothing's even happened yet!" penelope squeals as they walked into the venue, waiting for the others to show. penelope insisted on being there super early since she knew spencer would also get there early and didn't want to bump into him. penelope was also big on the 'it's bad luck to see each other before the wedding' "remind me why we're here literally 3 and a half hours early." evelyn groans, laying on the couch that was in the room. "because spencer is probably going to get here early and we can't risk you seeing him." penelope exclaims. "he's getting ready at derek's house, and even if he was getting ready here, he's not showing up anytime soon." evelyn says. "oh stop complaining." penelope says.

"holy shit you look incredible!" emily exclaims as evelyn comes out, fully ready. she had seen her before her dress was on, but seeing it all together was a whole other level. evelyn laughs softly and twirls around, showing off her whole outfit. she then gets some pictures taken by the photographer before going outside and to a corner of the building to take a picture with spencer without seeing him. he had agreed to taking a picture of them holding hands, them being on either side of the wall so they couldn't see each other. "okay spencer, hold out your hand and evelyn, you grab it." the photographer directs. they do as told, taking a couple photos. "i can't wait to see you." spencer says from his side of the wall. "you know nothing will happen if you see me before the wedding." evelyn explains. "i dunno, i've seen it happen. it's like opening an umbrella indoors. plus, i want my first time seeing you be at the ceremony." spencer says. "speaking of which, there's five minutes until then, so let's go, pretty boy." derek says, patting spencer's shoulder. "i love you." spencer says, squeezing her hand softly. "i love you too." evelyn replies before they walked in separate directions, being careful not to accidentally see each other.

music began to play, a cover of 'can't help falling in love', signaling evelyn was about to walk down the aisle. "you look beautiful, kid." rossi said. since evelyn's stepfather wasn't able to make it and her biological father had passed away when she was little, she had asked rossi to walk her down the aisle. "thank you." evelyn said, the doors opening, evelyn and spencer's eyes immediately locking as she began to walk down the aisle. rossi nodded to spencer once they reached the end, spencer smiling. "hi." spencer says softly, grabbing evelyn's hands. "hi." evelyn replies. "you look beautiful." he continues. "thank you." she smiles. "you look amazing." she continues. "thanks." spencer replies. "welcome. please be seated." the officiant says.

"spencer, do you take evelyn nicole jones to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward; for better and for worse, for richer and for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do you part?" the officiant says. "i do." spencer smiles, evelyn slipping the ring on his finger. "evelyn, do you take spencer walter reid to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward; for better and for worse, for richer and for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do you part?" the officiant says. "i do." evelyn smiles, spencer slipping the ring on her finger. spencer, evelyn, you have come here today of your own free will and, in the presence of your family and friends, have declared your love and commitment to each other. by the power vested in me by the state of virginia, i now pronounce you husband and wife! you may now, kiss the bride." the officiant says, spencer immediately pulling evelyn in and kissing her passionately, evelyn cupping his cheeks as the crowd cheered. "gross." grace says, just loud enough for the two of them to hear, making them laugh. they then grabbed hands and walked out, everyone cheering as they did.
