positive. all three tests she had taken displayed the word positive. "this must be a mistake. There's no way I'm pregnant." she said aloud to herself, immediately calling her doctor. Thankfully they had an opening in 15 minutes. she immediately drove to her doctor's office, impatiently waiting for her name to be called. once it was she was relived, yet anxious. "so what brings you in here today?" the nurse asks. "well you see" she says, pulling out the three pregnancy tests. "these say I'm pregnant, but there's no way I am, so I'd just like to confirm that I'm not pregnant." she explains. the nurse nods, obviously sympathetic since she knew what had happened to her. "The doctor will be in shortly to run some tests." she said, walking out. Evelyn nods, anxiously waiting. after what seemed like an eternity of waiting, the doctor finally came in, "so I was told you might be pregnant?" she asks, cleaning her hands. "I mean that's what these tests say, but there's no way, right?" Evelyn says, hopeful it was a mistake. "unfortunately Evelyn, there is a possibility you could be pregnant, and since all three turned up positive, there's a very high chance it's correct, but we'll go ahead and run some tests." The doctor says. Evelyn nods, zoning out as the doctor ran tests. "yep, you see there?" she says, pointing to a blob on the screen. Evelyn nods hesitantly. "that's your baby. you are indeed pregnant." the doctor says. "okay thanks" was all Evelyn said as she was cleaned up and was told she could leave. "thanks. bye." she said simply. she walked to the car, getting in and breaking down in tears. after about 10 minutes of breaking down in the parking lot, she deciding to drive to the BAU to tell Hotch. the drive was silent, no music playing, the only sound from the car being evelyn's sniffles. one she arrived, she made her way to the floor the BAU was on, once again breaking dow, this time in the elevator. thankfully, she was the only one that was in it on her way up. as the door opened she wiped her eyes, but it was still obvious she had been crying. She walked in ignoring the team trying to talk to her, heading straight to Hotch's office, not even bothering to knock. She immediately closed the door, shutting the blinds, making eye contact with Spencer before she did, giving him a sympathetic look. "she's pregnant." he whispered to himself as it clicked. "Evelyn I told you to go ho-" Hotch began to speak, cut off by Evelyn slamming the positive pregnancy tests on his desk. "I'm fucking pregnant." she snarled, upset by the situation. hotch looked at the tests, then back at her, not knowing what to say. "that fucking psycho got me fucking pregnant." she exclaimed, pacing around his office. hotch stayed silent, still not knowing what to say. "are you going to fucking say anything?" she snaps at him, not caring he was her boss as she glared at him. he opens his mouth to speak, closing it as he realized he didn't know what to say and sighing. Evelyn immediately storms out, not even bothering to grab the tests as she stormed out, slamming the door, making everyone in the room stare. "Evelyn." he says sympathetically as he opened the door. "what?" she exclaimed, practically yelling. He said nothing as he walked over to her, engulfing her in a giant bear hug, Evelyn breaking down as soon as he did. JJ softly gasps as she saw the pregnancy test that was in Aaron's hand, "she's pregnant isn't she?" she asked softly. Spencer looks at her softly, nodding his head, "yea." he whispers, his voice breaking as he knew how much it hurt Evelyn.
