today was evelyn and spencer's son's (who they had named grayson) 1st birthday and spencer and evelyn were setting up for his party. "we did it. 1st year done and he's still here." evelyn said, wrapping her arms around spencer. spencer smiles, wrapping his arms around her. "you're an amazing mom, what happened to madison was not your fault." spencer says, kissing her softly. "it feels like it is." she replied. "i know. but it's not." spencer says. "i love you, you know that, right?" spencer says. evelyn nods. "i love you too." she says. "so so much." she continues, kissing him. "how much is so so much?" spencer asks. i'll show you tonight if you're good." evelyn teases, walking away from him. "oh so now you're a tease." spencer says, grabbing evelyn and turning her around so she was facing him, wrapping his arms around her. "and what if i am?" she taunts. "then you're a very naughty girl." spencer says lowly in her ear, knowing it was one of her weaknesses. "now whos the tease?" she says as he sucks softly on her weak spot. "still you." he mumbles against her neck. evelyn laughs and rolls her eyes playfully, pushing him away. "yea right." she says, kissing him softly, walking away to finish setting up.

.............................

a couple hours later people began to show up, penelope being the first to arrive. she was obviously grayson's godmother and boy did she spoil him. "where's my favorite godson?" she exclaims as she walks in. "don't tell henry and michael." she says, pointing between spencer and evelyn. they both laughed, spencer going over sit on the couch. evelyn begins to set out the refrigerated food, coming over and sitting on spencer's lap when she was done. spencer wraps his arms around her waist, evelyn resting her head on his shoulder. "stop, you two are too cute together." penelope says, snapping a picture as evelyn and spencer look at each other, their eyes filled with love for one another. "is your mom coming?" evelyn asks spencer. spencer had found another facility close by his mom could live in, and she really liked it there. spencer nodded, the doorbell ringing. "penelope will you be the bestest person in the world and get the door please?" evelyn says. "only because i'm the bestest." penelope says, getting up from playing with grayson in his play pen to answer the door. "bestest isn't a word." spencer says. "shush, it is now." evelyn replies. "ah okay, i see." spencer says, nodding. "i brought booze!" rossi exclaims as he walks in. "give me." evelyn says, jumping off of spencer, stumbling as she did, running over to rossi. spencer laughs and the stumbles, following her to the kitchen. "hey hey, take it easy." he says, seeing that evelyn was drinking from the bottle. "there's going to be a bunch of little kids here,. i think this is justified." she says, taking another swig of the bottle. "keep it up, i won't give you what you want tonight." he said lowly in her ear as he held the bottle, taking it from her once she stopped drinking. evelyn glares at him as he took it away. "i hate you." she mumbles. "sure you do. totally believe you." spencer says sarcastically. "alright, when's the wedding?" rossi blurts out. "we aren't even engaged." evelyn says with a laugh. "and you've been dating how long?" rossi asks. "4 years, 6 months, and 21 days." spencer says. "and you still haven't popped the question?" rossi says. "the average couple dates an average of 4.9 years, 58.7 months, before getting engaged." spencer states. of course he knew that. "yea and you guys are right there soooo." penelope says, walking in, holding grayson. "i mean, i don't feel any rush to get engaged and get married." evelyn says, glancing at spencer. "like i'm not opposed to it if it happens, but i'm not like 'you need to propose right now'. y'know?" she says, the group nodding. "like we could literally never get engaged or get married and i'd still be over the moon because i still have him. or he could propose right now and get married tomorrow, and i'd be just as happy." she continues. spencer nods, agreeing with her. "like at first when gray was born i felt a little pressured because it's just like 'oh you have a kid, oh you must be married or getting married soon' but then i realized there's no rush and if people have a problem with it, that's a them issue." spencer says, jj and her kids walking in the door. "oh did i ruin the moment?" jj says, making her way around the room, hugging them. "oh no, we were just talking about evelyn and spencer getting engaged." penelope says. jj gasps, looking at spencer. "did you finally pop the question?" she asks. "no." spencer says. "we were talking about why there's no rush to get engaged." evelyn says. "but you guys will get married, right? my life isn't complete without a spevelyn wedding." penelope says. "spevelyn?" evelyn asks. "your ship name. duh. now will there be a wedding somewhere in the future?" penelope says. "yes." spencer immediately says, not having to think about his answer. evelyn looks at him, surprised he answered so quickly. "yes!" penelope exclaims, fist bumping the air. "woah woah woah, babygirl, why so excited?" a familiar voice says. penelope gasps, handing grayson to evelyn to hug the one and only derek morgan. "oh my goodness, you're here, you're actually here." she says, hugging him tightly. soon everyone was there, everyone having a great time, evelyn catching spencer staring at her multiple times. "why do you keep staring at me you weirdo?" she half jokes with him as they get the cupcakes ready. "because i'm in love with you." spencer says. "but also because i keep thinking how i'm gonna "rearrange your guts" tonight as you call it." spencer says lowly in her ear. "and how will you do that?" she asks innocently. "you'll just have to wait and find out." he whispered in her ear before walking away. "s-spence." evelyn called as he walked away, spencer very swiftly turning around. "please." she whimpers, spencer walking over to her. "please what, princess?" he says, taunting her. "touch me." she whispered. "nope. you'll have to be a good girl and wait." he says. "can you do that for me?" he asks tauntingly, driving evelyn insane in the best way possible. all she can do is nod. "good, now try not to look so needy when we go out there. we are at a kids party, after all." he taunts, walking outside with the cupcakes, leaving evelyn in the kitchen with the mini cake for grayson. the rest of this party is going to be absolute torture.
