After three long days, which seemed like they'd never end, the case had finally been solved and the team was to return today. Evelyn excitedly got ready and drove her own car. She had been feeling sick ever since he had left, which she had deemed as missing Spencer, so she was as happy as could be knowing she would see him again today. she drove to the BAU, practically bolting in, hoping they were already back. "are they back yet?" Evelyn asked. "not yet, they should be landing in about an hour." Penelope stated, walking over to the coffee machine. Evelyn huffs and crosses her arms. "well that plane needs to hurry the hell up." she exclaims. "why? you miss pretty boy?" Penelope jokes, nudging Evelyn. "oh shush." she says, slightly blushing. Penelope gasps dramatically. "so your little crush on the good doctor was all fictitious?" she exclaims. Evelyn laughs softly, "No, my crush on him is definitely real." She laughs. "your crush on who?" a curious Spencer asks, walking in. Evelyn immediately gasps and and tightly wraps her arms around him, hugging him tightly. Spencer immediately returns the hug, chuckling softly at her reaction. "I thought you guys wouldn't be landing for another hour!" Penelope exclaimed, hugging Derek as he walked in. "pretty boy here wanted to surprise Evelyn so he made us exaggerate our landing time." Derek explained. "ooooo that's genius." Penelope said as Evelyn and Spencer pulled away from their hug. "so how was the case? tell me all about it." Evelyn says excitedly. Spencer began to explain the case, some details she already knew, but he was passionate about it so she didn't mind hearing them again. As he began to describe the more gory parts of the case, Evelyn began to feel ill, eventually running to the nearest bathroom to throw up. 'that was weird.' she thought to herself. 'I never get sick hearing about cases.' she continued to think as she walked back to where they were. "sorry, don't know what that was about." Derek and Penelope look smugly at each other as Spencer rubbed her back as if it was a normal occurrence (it wasn't). "do you two have something to tell us?" Penelope asks quizzically. Spencer and Evelyn look at each other and then at Penelope, obviously confused. "no?" Evelyn says, the statement coming out more like a question. "we won't tell anyone!" she continues. "tell anyone what?" Spencer asks, taking a sip of the water he had. "that evelyn's pregnant!" Penelope whisper shouts. Spencer immediately chokes on his water, beginning to cough, Evelyn immediately patting his back to help him. "you're pregnant?" Spencer exclaims. "you're pregnant?" hotch asks as him and Alex walk in. "congrats!" Alex says, giving Evelyn a hug. Evelyn laughs softly, "I'm not pregnant!" she says. "are you sure?" Penelope asks, Evelyn nodding her head. " then how d o you explain the nausea, you being tired 24/7, your obsession with pickles and Nutella, together might I add, shall I go on." Penelope tables, the rets of the team who was there carefully listening in. "okay well when you put it like that...." Evelyn says quietly, crossing her arms and looking down. "I think it's time we give her a little space." hotch says, making everyone, including Spencer walk away. "Evelyn, go home, go to the doctor, whatever you want, just get away from here. I don't want you to be stressed out. find out if you'd like, it's up to you, but I strongly advise you do." he says sternly, yet softly. Evelyn nods softly, not looking up. "if you are, pregnant I mean, we're all here for you." he says, trying to comfort her. "thanks." she mumbles, walking out of the BAU and to her car, driving to the store to get pregnancy tests and going back to Spencer's apartment. Once she was at his apartment, she frantically rushed to the bathroom and emptying the boxes of pregnancy tests, immediately doing what she had to do and waiting the five minutes. As she waited she paced around the bedroom, immediately going to check the results when the five minutes were up.
