You took over the kitchen in the attempt to collect all the ingredients and tools you needed, but in the end you made the most sugary delicious pancakes you could.
When the team started to file in, they all cheered and looked surprised but happy at your creation and less more lightly at the mess which covered the counter and the sink.
"Sorry" you said, rubbing the back of your neck "I'm accustomed to cook just for one" you smiled brightly as they all took place at the table.
Clint reached out and smiled brightly up at you. He said he appreciated your cooking skills and was happy and relieved to have found someone else apart from him around the house able to cook edible food.
"No worries, Y/N, at least you spared to burn down the house as Thor did in his first attempt to cook" Stark teased while taking a seat at the dining table. "That's not fair, I never cooked before in Asgard! And my brother never dared to try!" Thor whined. "This is just because I am wiser than you are, Thunderhead" Loki grinned at his brother entering the room and sitting near to him, poking hardly his upper arm. In response, Thor engulfed his brother in a thigh grip and rubbed the top of his head with his knuckles.
"How do they happen to be in such a friendly mood with each other? Weren't they worst enemies?" You took seat near Banners and bent slightly to whisper in ear. "A lot of things changed since they arrived. Don't believe at all the lies you hear on TV..." he whispered your back, smiling. "Still, it is not rare to hear them bickering like kids around the house. And they appoint themselves as thousands years old gods..." he added with a grimace. "I see" you told him, suffocating a laugh.
Huge stacks of pancakes were passed around the dining table and you were impressed to see they were all endless bottom-pits, especially the two asgardians. You made a second serving which went devoured quickly. At least, you were proud to have feed them with something that were appreciated indeed.
When the dishes were cleaned and put back in the cupboard and the kitchen cleaned again, Rogers informed that he and Natasha would have left sooner for the SHIELD headquarters for some meetings.
"Y/N, are you up to come downstairs to the Labs with Tony and me? We can lead you to a tour" Banner asked you pleasantly.

"This is amazing, guys" you whispered when you enter the lab, looking around the shining, avant-garde commodities surrounding the place.
"Stark Industries opened up to different business branches lately" Stark explained. "I reckon we may find a spot for your researchers in here somewhere" he stated, looking around "Jarvis, do you see any opening for demolish the left wall and gain some extra space?" He asked the AI. "I will prepare a restructuring plan. But miss Potts would not be so pleased to hear about it" "Yeah, I know, I'll deal with that, just go on with some sketches..." he dismissed the AI furrowing his brows.

You spent the morning wandering around the laboratories and the medical area in awe. All the most advanced technologies were available there and the technical staff were simply amazing.
They set up a small corner for you near the infirmary, and Stark supplied you with high-tech laptop and pad. "Let me set an account for you" he told you, sitting behind the desk "I'll grant you personal membership to the network, so you can navigate it with your user and password and being recognized by Jarvis."
Few moments later, the AI greeted you with a "Good afternoon miss Y/N" with his peculiar, robotic accent. You couldn't help to look up at the ceiling in awe. "This is brilliant, Stark" you praised him sincerely and received his grin in reply "I am smart. I know. And call me Tony."
You sat on the other side of the desk and looked fascinated as he introduced you the system, moving blue, blurring screens around.

The afternoon literally flew. Bruce and Tony left when you immersed yourself in the medical files and recent prescriptions of the team, drowning eagerly in all the oddities. And there were plenty of them, considering that just three members where 'simply' human beings.
It took quite a lot of calls from Rogers to made you ready to leave the Labs and join the rest of the team to dinner.
[Boring chapter, I know, sorry for that. I promise that from the following one there will be a turn of events... involving our beloved God of Mischief! Let me know if you enjoyed this so far: leave a comment or hit the star!]
