You had been way more happy and relaxed the next day, waking up safely wrapped in one of Loki's arms in his huge, fluffy bed.
After a private breakfast, Loki gave you a proper tour of the palace and the gardens and elegantly introduced you to many more people.
Walk with him at your side, your hand placed lightly on his arm, started to feel the most natural thing after a while and you even managed to ignore the whispers after your passage: people at court would have stopped to gossip behind your shoulders, eventually. Well, perhaps in a couple of centuries.
You spent a very interesting afternoon in the huge library, curled up with him on a plushy couch before a huge fireplace as he showed you some ancient, captivating magic texts and read them for you.
When a late hour came, Loki literally dragged you away and lead you through one of the secret passages that only him known, up to a narrow ladder that ended to a small opening on the top of the highest tower: the view form there was beyond any human imagination: the stars, the moons, entire galaxies were glittering against the clearest sky, brighter that anything you had ever saw - NY city lights were just faint candlelights in comparison.
You spent the entire night there, nested in his arms under a soft blanket, feeding each other the sweetest fruits he had took for snack, as he shown you all the constellations that came to his mind and amazing stories about the Nine Reals, ending in kissing you thoroughly under the sky burning with the Northern Lights.

The next day had been a perfect, lazy day, until Thor met you midway to the dinner and pushed between you and Loki wrapping you both in a joyful side hug.
"Here you are!" He told the both of you brightly, squeezing harder. The moment you saw his way too much enthusiastic smile, and the warily glance he earned from his brother in reply, you knew he was up to something.
"No boring formal dinner or sneaking in alcoves for you two tonight: it's time to meet the old friends, brother!"
Thor dragged you both along the halls towards a narrow corridor that ended in a small room with a stunning round fireplace in the middle, around which four figures were sitting, talking animatedly, cheering and drinking from enormous glass pints.
"I see your time on Midgard has made you no less graceful, Loki... Maybe just more like a 'tamed' cat, uh?" A charming thin guy with funny moustaches was the first one to tartly greet your entrance, and chorus of laugh filled the room as Loki flushed a bit and sheepishly walked you to sit into two empty spots.
"This Lady surely have heard the tales! Hogun the Grim, Fandral the Dashing, and I, Volstagg the Svelte!" The larger, red-bearded guy introduced himself and his friends in a very boastful way. "And this beautiful lady is Sif!" You smiled and shyly nodded at all of them, as Loki proudly introduced yourself as well.
They wanted to know everything about you: they seemed genuinely curious and quite shocked by Loki's change in behaviour, as they found him serene and clearly happier; he was still a mischievous scamp, sarcastic and prickly, but not in the annoying way they used to remember.
As Loki told how heroically you had jumped to save the Queen, and how you actually did burned down an entire compound with just your magic, you sheepishly looked down at your lap, but once he ended to tell the tales you naturally leant forward and kissed lightly his jawline, for him having praised and made you felt valuable in front of his friends, but you backed immediately as he stiffen rather uncomfortable on his spot.
"Jeez, Loki, since when you are such a prude?! I personally caught you in way more compromising situations... like the evening you had your hands up to that maid' skirt barely hidden behind a column... I have stories I can tell you, Lady..." Sif sipped from her glass and gave you a provocative side glance. It was hard to pin down if she just didn't like the presence of another girl in her gang or you had inadvertently upset her somehow else, but she was clearly trying to test your jealousy.
