The first burst of spring's sunshine persisted, so rather than sitting in the usual couch, you and Loki took Cap's suggestion and decided for a day out.

You forced Loki to dress in midgarian clothes, and he had picked up a perfect tailored three-piece black suit: he was absolutely divine in it, but the point for the day was not to over shown your presence in public, and that would have surely drawn too much attention. So, you convinced him for a simple green zipped hoodie, that he left open on a black shirt, and pair of low-slung jeans, but you were highly surprised to see his choose of shoes when he emerged in the living room.

"How-..." you were unsure how to comment his brand new, limited edition Jordan 1 which color, you notice, were perfectly matching the ones you were wearing. "Stark's credit card was unattended last week..." he told you, shrugging and reaching the elevator. "So, you refuse to use social networks but you are perfectly able to shop on-line, uh?" you teased him, laughing, standing up from the armchair and reaching him out.

"Shall we?" he grinned, summoning the keys of one of Stark's car keys and elegantly offering an arm. "Just a sec" you replied and closing your eyes shut for half of a second, you summoned your own leather jacket and the purse. "Very well done" he looked impressed at the last shimmer of your magic, while you placed your hand the crook of his arm and he walked you into the open doors of the elevator.

You let Loki walk you to the car and smiled when he opened the door for you. You had expected nothing less than very elegant, ancient mannerisms.

"You know how to drive?" You asked before taking place in the passenger seats. "I do. Lady Natasha tough me how to and the Captain even gave me a driving license" he told you proudly.

He drove smoothly and safe for few minutes, before picking a free park and driving off. He was out of the car and at you door before you could even take off your seat belt. He opened the door for you and offered an hand, onto which you placed yours lightly before stepping out the car. He unexpectedly lifted your hand and kissed the back of it the moment you stood on your feet. You really weren't sure you would ever became accustomed at his overly romantic gestures. You grinned in reply and placed the same hand on the arm he offered, so he could walk you through the entrance of the footpath.

You both got a lot of stares while you walked arm-in-arm along the footpath in Central Park. He was pretty famous after all and he looked like that seemed quite normal for him; on the contrary, you were still quite uncomfortable in being so much popular.

You walked for a while before choosing a very nice place to sit in. You sat on the soft, green grass and leaned your back on a large beech tree on the edge of the lake in Central Park, sitting upright, and Loki settled comfortable his head on your lap.
You summoned your books (sorry, Cap) and lounged in the shade of the tree reading, Loki purring as you absently stroked his corvine hair.

The book you were reading was really fun: it was a collection of stories for children in asgardian that you had borrowed from his personal stock so that you could start to learn the language. Still, you couldn't help yourself to glance down at him from time to time, admiring his emerald eyes highlighted by the natural light of the sun moving quickly while reading his book; his silky raven hair so smooth running between your fingers; the perfect shape of his lips...

Some people recognized you both from distance, and a couple of really brave girls approached the two of you to ask him for an autograph. Their were about your age, but looked way more fashionable than you. He looked surprised by their shy request, but stood up elegantly and accepted gleefully to sign their agendas and followed them with a side glance when they left, giggling and laughing in excitement. You rolled your eyes at his astonished face and he turned at you with a grin of satisfaction.

"Oh for heaven's sake" you snapped your book closed and jumped on your feet. "What? Apparently I have fans..." he grinned wider at your furrowed brows. "But the only Lady who will have the pleasure to dine with me is you" he wrapped an arm around your shoulders and squeezed you in a light hug. You rolled your eyes again, but couldn't help to smile up at him. "So, were are we going?" you asked him, while you started to walk on the footpath aside the lake. "You are from NY, you name a place" he bid you, smiling.

"Darling, what's exactly this place?" he asked politely but concerned when you entered the asian-looking restaurant, after Loki held the door opened for you. Of course.

"A sushi bar" you looked up at him, a brow raised at his strange question. "You wanna make me believe you are in NY since more than one year, and no one ever bother to make you try sushi?" you covered your mouth to not burst in a open laugh in his face. "C'mon, boy, you'll love it."

The place was almost desert, apart for an old couple sitting on a table before the window. The hostess led you quickly to a table, and Loki helped you remove your jacket and settled it on the back of your chair, before pulling it for you. The old lady leant forward to his husband, and told him with voice barely above a whisper "Aren't they sweet? They just look like us when we got engaged!" That wasn't to be overheard, but your couldn't prevent it, so you both chuckled, blushed lightly and looked down at the menu.

You were right, sushi was definitely in his taste. The waitress' eyes popped out of his skull when Loki called her for the countless time to ask for another round of service and you couldn't help to burst in awkward smile when she paced away but turned back to glance at Loki's shoulders. Average people were definitely not accustomed at how much asgardians may be bottomless pits.

You laughed a lot at Loki's attempt to use chopsticks and he growled at your skills with them, but insisted on trying until he mastered the technique. The lunch included gossip about the team, old stories about them, laughing about embarrassing things of your youth.

"Oh, I almost forgot" you said sticking out your right hand to Loki "I need your phone." He looked surprised at your request but pulled it out from his pocket without questioning and hand it over to you. You fumbled with it for few minutes, ignoring Loki's confused glances.

"Here. Now you have both Facebook and Instagram accounts" you giggled handing back the device, and as he mock-roared and laughed at your statement.

You had then to spend a good half an hour to walk him through the basics of the social networking, and with some prodding you made him send friend request to the rest of the team. In the end, he was pleased to see how much followers already joined his profile in such a short time.

You had fun in posting some of your photos of your day out, which included a very outstanding selfie with the lake in background. You of course made sure he tagged you in all of his posts. Just to make clear to any fangirl he was not... technically single.
