Without any further warning, Odin whipped on his heels and quickly walked away, followed closely by all his guards and Frigga.

Loki and Thor exchanged a suspicious glance and that was the first time you heard Thor growling, rushing out of the door as well. Loki looked down concerned at you, grabbed your wrist, and pulled you with him, half running to follow the group as well.

Going down along the corridor in the attempt to meet Odin's quick pace, a storm of armed guards passed by, the one in charge shouting orders at the packed units.

"Move!" "To the dungeons!" "Come on!"

"Send a squadron to the weapons vault! Defend it at all costs! Secure the dungeon!"

"Odin!"

Frigga was the first one to reach his husband and grabbed his shoulder for him to stop barking orders, turn and supply explanations about what was going on.

"Frigga, it's just a skirmish. Nothing to fear." "You've never been a very good liar." "Despite all I have survived, my queen still worries over me."

You saw the tenderness melt Odin's eyes, as he gently run his thumb across Frigga's cheek with a very delicate movement. The true love between the two of them made your heart clutch a bit.

"It's only because I worry over you that you have survived."

She small smiled and nodded at him with a firm glance as he swept away, followed closely by four of the guards. You turned to meet Loki's concerned look, which flickered between you and his family.

"Thor, Loki..." Frigga turned to look at both her sons "Go. I will look after her." She added quickly before Loki could speak a word "I'll take her to my chambers. I'll come for you when it's safe. You take care."

Loki gritted his teeth but silently cupped your face with both his hands and bend to kiss your forehead before letting you free for Frigga to wrap your shoulders. He turned to meet his brother's gaze before disappearing in a glint of green light, while Thor summoned his hammer, whipped it fast, and flew away.

"Listen to me now. I need you to do everything I ask, no questions." Frigga spoke quickly, hauling you along the corridor. "Yes, ma'am." You followed her obediently, as quick as your shaking legs allowed you.

Distant, frightening noises of swords clinking and clashing in fight echoed in the entire palace, things that made you start to fear for your own life, and even more for your loved ones.

You managed to remain quiet, hidden in the spot behind the living room of Frigga's chambers where she had shoved you in, counting your breaths as you fought back a huge panic attack.

Until the ugliest creature you couldn't have imagined in your worst nightmares burst the door open with a kick, and you yelped in fear. Frigga pushed you behind her back and silently ordered you to hide further where she had shown before.

"Stand down, creature, and you may still survive this." Tilting the heavy curtain sideways of less than an inch, just enough to peek from your hidden spot, you saw Frigga pacing around the sitting room fiercely, facing the intruder, a silver sword appearing in her fist. The thing was alone, but it was almost twice her size "I have survived worse, woman."

The alien engaged Frigga in combat, and she responded by viciously attacking with her sword, soon overwhelming it with her surprising skills with blade. Dammit, she was good at fighting, who could have told?

But in a flash of a movement, the alien took her aback gripping her long hairs, and managed to block her from the back, unsheathing his own sword right under her neck. "Where is the reliquie?" "I'll never tell you." "I believe you."
