I woke up the next morning with the image of Jay wanting to kiss me in my head. Placing my pillow over my head I groan loudly. And to top it off with the cherry on top of the cake, I was wearing my pj's and a towel on my head! Groaning a few more times before I throw the pillow to the wall. Why would someone like Jay want to kiss someone like me? I'm not nearly as pretty as that Erin girl he used to date, or that other girlfriend that almost messed up his whole career not to long ago. Why me?

I was so busy throwing a little tantrum, I didn't even hear my phone buzz on the night stand. Glancing at the caller I.D I immediately smiled and answered, "Hey!"

"Gosh, took you a while. I was starting to think Adam was starting to rub off on you," my older sister Kate says over the phone. I can hear Sammy on the other end of the line and my smile grew wider.

"Not in a million years, what can I do for you," I ask. My sister usually doesn't call me, but when she does it was usually because she needed help babysitting my nephew or for advice on something.

"Well I heard today was your day off, so I was wondering if you could help me with Sammy for a few hours. I can't get a hold of the babysitter and there's a few things I need to take care off, if you're not to busy."

"Not a problem at all, I was going to go to the stables later so if it's okay with you he can always come with me," I was planning on going to the horse stables, just alone, but I don't mind Sammy coming along. On the other end off the line I can hear my nephew pleading with his mom to let him go.

"Okay, no problem. Can I drop him off in 30 minutes?

"I'll see you in 30 minutes then," I say with a chuckle. We hung up and I jumped out my bed to finish. I slipped on my favorite pair of a crème colored riding tights and an almost Navy blue top before grabbing my riding boots. I braided my hair in a French braid and put a small amount of makeup on. My sister can sometimes be judgy about my looks and appearances. After glancing in the mirror several times to make sure I looked okay, I grabbed my duffel bag in the closet and packed my riding gear and an extra helmet for Sammy.

I then grabbed my backpack and went to the kitchen to pack snacks for the ride. I know Sammy can get hungry easily, and with this heat, he would get thirsty two. Grabbing 4 water bottles, a few boxes of crackers, lunch bars, sweets and a few other snacks, I stuffed it all in my backpack along with Sunscreen.

Hearing a knock on the door I went over and opened the door. I was immediately ingulfed with a tackle as Sammy grabbed my thigh to hug me. Grabbing the doorframe for balance I chuckle and crouch down to look at him, "And how is my nephew doing today?"

"Auntie Nana!" he yells excitedly as he threw his tiny arms over my neck and hugged me. Picking him up I stood up and looked at my sister. She looked way older, but in a good way. Gesturing for her with one hand to come in, I closed the door behind her before heading to the living room.

"Looks like someone's been having company," my sister says and I looked at her confused. "Someone left their shirt behind," she continues lifting a black shirt up. It was Jay's from the other day when he was drunk. "Care to explain."

I explained to her about what happened to Jay and that he stayed the night here. She didn't look so convinced and I had to suppress the urge to slap her in front of Sammy. "You sure you didn't do anything else?" she asked.

"Oh my Gosh Kate! Seriously? I BARELY KNOW THE GUY," I say in disgust. She smiles and glances at her watch.

"I got to get going, here's his bag. I'll come pick him up just after 9 tonight if that's okay with you and you don't have any plans with that Jay guy," she says wiggling her eyebrows, right until she saw my disgusted face and she stopped. "Please don't give him too much candy after 5 and don't let him go to sleep to late."

I nod before she gave me a quick hug and gave the rules and what to do's and what not to do's to Sammy and told him to be a good boy. She greeted us and I immediately turned to Sammy after she left.

"You ready to go," I ask the boy who's now sitting on the couch. The next thing I know he jumps up and runs over to me.

"Yes, can we get ice-cweam later," he looks at me with puppy dog eyes and I start giggling.

"We can get ice-cream when we come back okay," I say and he cheers and runs around and I giggle again. Grabbing the duffel bag and backpack along with my phone and purse and keys, I lead Sammy out the apartment and locked the door.

"Going somewhere?" I hear a familiar voice behind me. Turning to the direction of the elevators I saw Hailey standig there crossing her arms. "And who's this young man?"

"Hey Hailey, this is Sammy my sister's son," I say. I crouch down to Sammy who now was trying to hide behind me, "Sammy, this is Hailey my best friend."

Hailey comes closer to us and also crouches down, "Hi, it's nice to meet you, Sammy."

Sammy looks at Hailey like he's some kind of detective or something, before he gave her a hug around the neck. We both laugh before Hailey turns to me, "You two going somewhere?"

"Yeah actually," I say as we stood back up. "We're going to the stables for the day, you wanna come along? I have things I need to discuss with you," I say thinking about last night. I need to get that off my chest and the only person I trust to not freak out or something is Hailey.

"Me too actually," she says. She turns to Sammy and asks, "Do you mind if I come along?"

He pretends to think about it, before he looked back up at her, "Do you like ice-cweam?"

"Like? No, I love ice-cream!" She says.

"Okay den, you can come wif us," he says. Hailey and I chuckle before we started heading for the elevator, while Hailey helped me carry the duffel bag.

When we reached the car, I opened up the trunk and stuffed the bags in it before I helped Sammy in the backseat. Making sure he was buckled in I closed the door and slid into the driver's seat.

"Can we pway music pwease?" I hear Sammy ask behind us. I connected my phone to the car and played my usual playlist.

"First stop of the day, The Stables!" I say as we drove out the parking lot.
