Bandit

When Luke wakes up the next day he notices a sheriff car sitting in his driveway. "What's going on?" Luke asked. "Luke go back inside. Please." Mr.Tommy demanded. As Luke goes back inside he tried to listen but couldn't hear anything they where saying.
"Mr. Tommy I'm going to need to take your dog to run some tests. We will not harm him in any way!" Says the sheriff. "Load up!" Shouts Mr.Tommy. Bandit jumps in the back of the sheriff's car and they leave.
Luke runs out the door. "Where are they taking him?!" He shouts. "Luke calm down. They are just running some tests." Mr. Tommy says. "Well, I'm going to go find Amber." Luke replies.
When he starts towards Amber's house he met her half way unexpectedly. He waves and smiles at her.
Luke's POV (point of view)
I've always wondered if she liked me. I know that I haven't been showing much but I really like her. She's so cute but she says she's my "friend".. I really don't wanna approach her desperately.
"Hey, about that thing I was gonna ask you. Umm I really don't know how to put this.. But I wanted to know" I just froze up staring at her like an idiot with my half smile. She was just looking at me waiting for me to say something. "Yes??" She asked in a confused
tone. "Uhh. Do you wanna go back to the creek later?" I asked. I kicked myself for not asking. "Sure! Why was that so hard to ask?" She laughed. We walked down to the creek and I kept staring at her. I couldn't look away. "Why are you staring? Do I have something on my face?" She asked while still laughing. "Uhh.. No it's just.. Just never mind. I couldn't get it out! I don't know why. Somehow it's so hard to say something like that to her.
Ambers POV (point of view)
I was wondering why he was staring so much. I looked away pretending I didn't notice. It's like I've got something in my teeth! I got up and walked towards the creek to take my mind off of it. "Wanna go swimming?" He asked. "Will your parents get mad?" I responded. "No! I'm 10 years old! I can swim." He laughed as we jumped in together. "Hey, remember when you caught that big catfish?" I asked. "Yea! I haven't caught one in a while though." He laughed again. "Let's see if we can catch some." I said again
