Luke's POV
"Luke! It's time to go!" Amber yelled from downstairs. I got all of my bags packed and I had both of the babies. "Little help up here?!" I hollered back down. She came up and got Thomas and her bags.
We set the babies in their car seats and we put all of our bags in the back. "I can't believe I'm going to preform in Atlanta already!" I said after we started driving. Amber nodded and said, "Yeah! You have gotten so far!" She smiled at me.
We were leaving early so that we could drop the babies off in Leesburg and check in to our hotel. The concert was tomorrow but I wanted to get there early.
We drove for a long time with no stops and we finally arrived. Mama came running out the door and I saw Amber's dad talking to mine on the porch swing. Amber ran to hug her dad and I talked to my parents. "Good Luck, son." Dad said to me when we got in the truck to leave. I waved back to them and so did Amber. We drove for a couple of more hours before getting to our hotel. Someone got all of our bags and brought them up to our room for us. We walked to the check in counter and I payed for our room. The lady didn't look up at me once and said, "You got the last room! Everyone else got a room to see Luke Bryan in concert." She looked up at me and her eyes got huge. "I mean.. To see YOU in concert!" She paused. "I'm such a huge fan." She said. We talked for a while and I gave her my autograph since she was a fan. We got in the elevator to go to our room and there was about 15 girls in there with us. I laughed at how they were freaking out because they were in an elevator with Luke Bryan. Of course I signed more autographs and when I stepped of the elevator I looked at our room. There was another crowd of girls there too. I sighed happily and met all of them. "This is awesome!" Amber said as we walked in our room. "What is?" I asked. She looked back at me. "All of these fans! It's crazy! It seems just like yesterday, you were writing songs for me to play!" She said. I smiled and grabbed her shoulders. "Well, this has been my dream." I said and she smiled.
We decided to walk around downtown Atlanta and look around. Fans would come from all directions just to meet me and I didn't mind one bit. Most were younger girls, but some were women my age and they didn't like Amber one bit. Those fans were the kind that would like to kidnap me and it's kinda weird but whatever. The girls who loves Amber as much as they loved me were the ones that I got along with the most. Amber and I went to eat with my band and Lexi decided to tag along with Amber.
We ate at the HardRock Cafe and it was packed! I sat down and there was some guards keeping some fans away. I actually didn't like that and I saw a family with a girl who looked like she had cancer. She had a shirt that said 'Luke Bryan beats Chemo treatments any day!'
That made me get chills and I told the guard to let her and her family in. "Hey baby girl." I said getting on one knee in front of her. She almost started crying when I pulled my hat off and gave it to her after I signed it. She hugged me and her father thanked me. When I saw them leave she was in tears and that almost made me tear up! Amber was there beside me and she grabbed my hand. "That was the sweetest thing ever!" She said. I looked over and saw some of my fans in tears too.
I couldn't believe that touched people so much. I felt so happy about it too!
After we got finished eating I talked to more fans and signed more autographs. I checked my phone and saw my Twitter feed blow up with videos of me giving that girl my hat! "Wow!" I said, putting my hand on my head. Amber looked over at my phone and saw all of the tweets. She kissed my cheek and said, "You did something really good back there! That girl needed some cheering up and you made her whole life worth living."
I smiled and we walked back to our hotel. I couldn't wait for tomorrow and I slept so good!
