Amber's POV
"Luke? How does spaghetti sound for supper?" I asked. He nodded and helped Thomas walk by holding his hand. Thomas wanted to go back outside but Luke didn't think it was too much of a good idea. "Thomas. Calm down.." Luke said in a frustrated tone. Thomas was all over him. I laughed and asked, "Wanna trade?" He smiled and said, "Sure."
I took Thomas and brought him outside while Sadie slept. We went to visit the animals, but Thomas had something else in mind. He walked over to Poncho (our miniature donkey) and tried to climb on top of him.
Then something really weird happened and I've never seen anything like it. Poncho lowered his head and Thomas climbed on top of his head, then Poncho lifted his head up slowly so that Thomas could climb onto his back. Thomas laughed as Poncho slowly walked around. Luke walked out and told me that supper was ready and he saw Thomas. "I swear, that boy has something with animals!"
I got Thomas off with a fight and brought him inside. I put him down with the puppies, that were now old enough to see and walk, and he played with them. Luke and I ate and Sadie woke up. Luke got up and sat her in her highchair. He fed her some apple sauce and finally sat back down.
I looked at Luke and he looked back at me. "What do you say, we watch a movie tonight?" He said. I smiled and agreed.

Two more hours later, we got the babies to sleep and we curled up on the couch together. "It's been a while since we have done this." He laughed. Luke got up and made some popcorn. "When did you get this?" I asked. He smiled. "I got it a few weeks ago but we never got to cuddle up together so I saved it."
I laid my head on his chest and fell asleep about thirty minutes into the movie.
I felt something pick me up as I slowly woke up. Luke carried me all the way upstairs to our room. I slowly fell back asleep as I felt his arms wrap around me and he pulled me closer.
