Luke's POV
Gosh, when our hands touched I could feel a burden lift off my chest! I could tell that she wasn't letting go anytime soon. She leaned over and laid her head on my shoulder. "So, I guess this means your my boyfriend." She said. "What?! No!" I said as I walked away towards the door. Her eyes got huge and she looked so confused. "Well darlin, if I'm gonna be your boyfriend, I need to ask you properly!" I said laughing. Her eyes lit up as she was smiling from ear to ear. "Amber, do you wanna be my girlfriend?" I said as I got down on both knees. I thought it would make it more funnier if I made a dramatic scene and it worked! "Yes. Luke I will." She laughed and hugged me.
Amber's POV
Well I guess I have a boyfriend now. "I've got to go home and eat dinner." I said. "Okay. I'll see you tomorrow then?" He said. "Yep! Tomorrow." I smiled as I walked home.
"Hey mom!" I said as I walked in. "Hey baby. How was your day?" She asked. I looked at her with a big smile. "It was awesome. Best day ever!" I said excitedly. "Hmm. Your never this excited. Who's the boy?" She laughed. I looked up at her still smiling. "Luke. He asked me to be his girlfriend so I said yes." I said. Mom looked at me with a smirk. "Ya know, dad ain't gonna be very happy about this." She laughed. "Where is dad,anyways?" I asked. "Oh he had to work pretty late tonight at the fire department." She said.
I walked to my room and laid down in my bed silently celebrating. I couldn't stop thinking about Luke trying to sound all cool and falling! It was so funny. I wonder how long we will stay together?
