Stabbed and Saved

Miranda's Pov:

"I remember the guy's name, well it could possibly be him," I told Luke. "Who," Luke asked. "It looked a lot like Austin. Amber kept saying he looks familiar but I just didn't see it," I told him. "Austin? As in Austin from Amber's and my childhood," he asked me. "Yes," I stated. "How? Why? He lives in Florida," he said. "How do you know that," I asked him. "Because after he got sent to jail for abuse he move to Florida," he said. "So do you think they're in Florida," one of the officers asked. "It wouldn't help but look," I stated while Luke shook his head. "Yeah you could look but I don't know where in Florida," he said. The police officers left and I was going home but Blake was staying. 

Luke's Pov: 

Miranda and the police have left and it was just me and Blake. "We need to go to Florida to find them," I told them. "We will never find him," Blake stated. "We're going to though," I said back. "I don't want to go," he said. "Really Blake I've been there when you needed me and now your backing down," I told him getting angry. "Fine I'll go but we need to get more people," he said. "Ok, I'll call Carter and Jason," I told him. "Alright," he said. I walked outside to call Carter and Jason. First I called Carter and he agreed almost immediately because he need time away from his girlfriend. Now I have to call Jason and I'm afraid he won't want to. 

L-Luke J-Jason

L- "Hey man"

J- "What's up"

L- "I need your help to find Amber"

J- "Yeah man where at"

L- "Florida"

J- "Florida? Luke I don't think we should do this what if he kills one of us?"

L- "Rather it be me than Amber"

J- "Yeah but Amber wouldn't know what to do without you"

L- "I wouldn't know what to do without her. Are you in? Were also bringing along Carter and Blake."

J- "Can I bring my gun"

L- "I don't want it to look like were going to kill him but you can bring your pistol in you holster. Me and Blake and Carter are bringing our knifes."

J- "Alright man I'm in. When are we leaving"

L- "Tomorrow morning, so come over"

J- "Alright I'll see you in 10 minutes. We're going to find Amber!"

Thank god Jason's in I really need him. I walked back in and Carter was already here. "Good news y'all! Jason's in," I told them. "Alright," they said. Jason arrived 10 minutes later like he said. "I already call Randa she said I can go but she really doesn't want me to go," Blake said. "You'll be alright," I told him. "I don't have my knife," Carter said. "I told you to bring it," I told him. "I broke it when I dropped it," he said. "Damn than you really don't have a good knife. I'll give you one of my old Cabela's knifes," I told him. We all headed up to bed so we can get up early in the morning. I tried to sleep but the thought of Amber made me not be able to. I finally dosed off.

Morning... Luke's Pov:

So we all just woke up and it's about 5 in the morning. "So what vehicles are we bringing," Jason asked. "I was thinking my truck and Blake's," I said. "Alright should we bring one of our Ranger Crew's," Blake asked. "Yeah in cases we have to go threw woods," Jason said. "Yeah who's should we take," I asked. "I don't know," Blake said. "How bought mine since its already here," I suggested. "Or mine cause it's better," Jason said. "What's better about yours," I asked. "It's the brand new model and I got it bullet proofed," Jason said. "Ok were taking yours. Why did you get it bullet proof," I asked. "Because my old one while I was hunting someone shot it and I had no way to get back to camp," he said with a chuckle. "Oh," I said. We gathered everything while Jason went to get his Ranger. We grabbed our knifes and put them in our pockets. "Alright since Blake decided to come with all camo on I think we should all go in camo," I said. "I don't have my hunting clothes here or at home," Carter said. "Damn you don't have anything. You'll fit into some of mine. Let me call Jason to tell him," I said. I stepped into another room and called Jason and told him. I walked back into the other room and grabbed Carter. We walked to my hunting closet and I got clothes for him and me. He walked into the bathroom while I just got dressed there. I put my pants on and I was putting my boots on, well my left boot since my right foot already has a boot on, when Carter walked back in. "I need some smaller pants," he said. "Length wise or waist," I asked him. "Length," he said. I handed him another pair of pants and he went to put them on. I put my shirt on and my cap and Carter came back in all dressed. I gave him a pair of camo boots and he put them on. I handed him one of my camo caps and he put that on too. We walked back to where Blake was last but he wasn't there so we went into the kitchen to find Blake and Jason. Jason had camo on like I told him. He handed me some face paint and I put some on and handed it to Carter. He put some one and we were all ready. Me and Cater hopped in my truck and Jason and Blake hopped in Blake's truck. Jason's Ranger was hitched to my truck. We drove to Florida and it took us about 3 hours because we sped the whole way and there was no traffic. The police said he move out around Panama City after he got out of jail. We arrived in Panama and we decided that we will spread out so I went looking around with Carter. Me and Cater knew Panama well but that's just because of spring break. We were looking everywhere and about 8 at night we got tired and we had no luck. So we met back up with Jason and Blake and they said they couldn't find anything. "Alright well how about we go crash at my beach house," I suggested. "Alright," everyone seemed to say at the same time. We hopped back in our trucks and headed that way but first we were going to eat. I pulled into a Olive Garden and saw Blake follow me. We all headed inside and got seated almost right away and while we walked to our table everyone was freaking out because there's 3 country stars in Olive Garden and a Carter. We sat down and ordered our drinks. "Guys don't y'all think we look ridiculous," I asked. "No why," Carter asked. "Because it's not hunting season and were wearing hunting clothes and plus were in Florida. Nobody hunts in Florida especially in Panama," I said laughing. Everyone else started laughing and agreeing. We ordered our food and shortly after it came. We were all eating and everyone was laughing but I stopped laughing when the thought of Amber came back to mind. I was sitting there staring at my food and next thing I know I'm getting hit on the head with a roll. "What the hell," I said looking up at a laughing Blake. "What was that for," I asked. "Because this little girl has been asking to take a picture with you for about 5 minutes now and none of us could get your attention," he said while laughing. I looked over to see a little girl in a wheelchair next to me. "Well hello what's your name," I asked her. "Courtney," she said back. "Nice to meet you. Where's your parents," I asked her. "My mom is somewhere over at our table and my dad hasn't come home in a couple of days which is a good thing," she said. "Oh. Well why is that a good thing," I asked her. "Because.." she started but her mom cut her off. "I'm sorry sir. Courtney leave the man alone and let him eat," she told her daughter. "No ma'am its fine," I said while I looked at her. "Oh my. Your Luke Bryan. I'm sorry Mr. Bryan." she said. "So Courtney as you were saying," I told her. "Because he hits me and mommy," she said. I looked up at the woman with rage in my eyes. She has bruises everywhere. "I'm sorry," I said while I got up to hug them. I gave them a one arm hug because of my other arm.  "Would you like a picture with all of us," I asked her. She looked up at the table and realized Blake and Jason and Carter for the first time. "Yes please," she said. Our waiter came back and took a picture of all of us and Courtney's mom. "Do you want me to sign something," I asked her. "I don't have anything," she said. "Here," I said while I took my hat off and signed it then gave it to the boys for them to sign it. "Here you go," I told her while I put it on her head. "Thank you," she said while starting to cry. Jason, Blake and Carter got up to hug her. "So why are you in a wheelchair," I asked her. "Because daddy hurt my leg," she said. I swear my eyes got so big. "What's your daddy's name sweetheart," I asked her. "Austin Grey," she said. We all looked up and I looked at the boys and there eyes were so big. "Oh no," Jason said. "Do you know him," her mom asked. "Yea," I said. "I got him arrested when his son wondered onto my farm and he said he was beating his mom so I went over there and he tried to fight me but I beat him and he got arrested. And were most certain that he kidnapped my wife. That's why we're down here," I said while I let a tear fall. "Oh my I wish I could help but we haven't seen him for a couple of days." she said. "yeah it happened a couple of days ago. Why don't you give me your number so when I find Austin I can tell y'all so your not afraid of when he might hurt y'all next," I said. "Ok," she said while giving me her number. "We have to go but I will get in contact with y'all," I said while we paid our bill and said goodbye to Courtney. We got back in the trucks and headed to the beach house. We arrived and there was a car here. We all got out and I made sure the Ranger was locked and that the key wasn't there. Blake pulled in a little later and they hopped out. "Who's here," Blake asked. "I don't know," I said while I told them to be quite. "Jason, draw your gun," I told him. "Everyone else be ready to get you knifes out when you need them," I said. "Jason don't let them see the gun," I told him. "Yeah I know," he said while he loaded his gun but put it back in his holster. "Alright everyone follow me," I said as I quietly unlocked the door and opened it. We looked around down stair and there was nobody. "okay we're heading up stair, step really quite because the stairs creek," I whispered to them. Everyone nodded their head and I was the first to go up. We made it up the stairs as quiet as we could and we searched upstairs. There was nobody but we did have one more room to check. We stood in front of the guest room and we could hear quiet sobs. "Ready," I whispered. Everyone nodded there head. I slowly opened the door to see a chair with someone tied to it. The person instantly shut up when he/she heard the door open. We looked around the room and didn't see anyone so Carter went to go see who the girl was. "Uhgg," I heard. I turned around and Carter was on the ground with a knife in his stomach. I started to freak out because whoever stabbed Carter was gone. We walked over to Carter and the chair and Amber was in the chair. A sense of relief washed over me but that was soon gone after Austin jumped out of the closet. "You stabbed my friend, now we're going to kill you," I told him. "No I'm going to kill you. This is pay back from getting me arrested," he said while rushing towards us with an open knife. I went to grab my knife but it was gone. "Luke, your back pocket," Blake shouted. I grabbed my knife and opened it but I didn't want to stab him so I moved and tripped him. His knife went flying and I threw mine a crossed the room. "Fuck this I'm going to pound your face in," I told him. I got on top of him and started to punch him in the face. He kicked me off and Jason jumped on him and started to pound his face in. While Jason did that I went to Amber. I untied her and grabbed a blanket because she was half naked. I wrapped the blanket around her and ripped the duct tape of her mouth. She tried to stand up but she was in too much pain. She gave me a big hug and a passionate kiss. "Luke go beat his ass," she told me. "Okay," I told her back. She sat back down and watched.

Amber's Pov: 

Luke, Blake and Jason just showed up. I just told Luke to beat Austin's ass and he went and I sat back down. I looked down and saw Carter laying on the floor with a knife in his stomach and he was bleeding pretty bad. "Omg Carter," I said going over to him. "Amber your okay," he said with a smile. "Yes I am but your not," I said pointing to his stomach. "I know," he said. I went into the closet and grabbed my shirt that Austin threw in there and put it on. I took Carter' s shirt off and wrapped the blanked around him after I took the knife out. And after I took it out the bleeding stopped a little. I grabbed Carter's phone out of his pocket and called the police. They were on their way and I watched Luke. He was beating Austin up pretty bad while Jason and Blake held him. "Luke, promise me that you won't kill him I don't want you arrested," I told him knowing he heard me. He nodded and Austin kicked Luke off. Blake and Jason pushed him into the mirror on the wall and Austin's knees bucked and he fell to the ground. "Please tell me you didn't kill him," I said. "No he's just passed out," Blake said out of breath. They came over to me and hugged me but it hurt. I flinched and they said sorry. Luke stood up and limped over to me. "I think I shouldn't have punched him with my bad arm," he said as he flinched in pain. I wrapped him in a hug and I stayed there even though it hurt. "Fuck what about Carter," Jason said. "I called the police already," I said while we gathered around Carter. I heard the front door open and they said police. "Were up stairs," Blake shouted. The police came up stairs and into the room. They called for the paramedics and they took Austin in handcuffs and put him in the back of the ambulance because he needed to get treated. They called a helicopter for Cater so they can fly him back to Nashville hospital. They treated Amber and they came back and Amber told me that she was raped. My eyes got wide and I seriously wanted to kill Austin but I knew Amber didn't want me to. We all drove home and we had a police escort so it didn't take that long to get back to Nashville. We all went to the hospital to check on Carter. When we got there they said none of us could go back because we're not family. The police said it was alright because we just went threw a lot. We got back to Carter's room and he was fine because the knife didn't penetrate anything important. Carter got released a little later and we all went home. I texted Courtney's mom and told them Austin is going to jail. The police came up to our house and told us that Austin was getting charged for rape, attempted murder, and kidnapping, which in the state of Tennessee is 15 years to life. We thanked the cops and me and Amber snuggled in our bed. I knew she was terrified. But I know she was happy to be back in my arms. She would need time to heal but when she does heal I know were going to make love because she's alright. I still can't get the thought of Austin raping Amber. I finally dosed off to sleep. The next morning was going to be hell for all of us. And man my arm hurts really bad but my leg is fine. I had a dream that night of us saving Amber but it turned into all of us getting stabbed and him taking Amber and getting away. I woke up and I was sweating. Amber woke up and sat up. "Luke what's wrong," she asked worried. "It's nothing just had a bad dream, let's go back to bed," I told her. That night I couldn't go back to sleep so I watched Amber sleep and I was so happy she was back home. Then I finally dosed off at like 1 in the morning.
