The Bracelets

Luke's POV
"No, Thomas! Get down!" I said as I turned around to see him hanging on the curtains. Then I saw Sadie climbing out of her crib to get to me. "Amber! I need your help!" I yelled and then I realized that she was at school. I pulled Thomas off and grabbed Sadie before she fell. "Look you two. I don't know what y'all got into but I need to keep my eye on you 24/7 now." I sighed. They laughed and squealed. I sat them down on the ground and they attacked me. I had one baby on my face and one on my feet. I looked at my watch. "Okay, thirty more minutes until Amber's home!" I said to myself and I heard a knock at the door. Sadie and Thomas crawled off of me and I answered it. "Mr. Bryan?" The man asked while he was holding a box. "Yes sir?" I said. He handed me the box and gave me a pen to sign a piece of paper with. I brought the box inside and opened it. There was a letter inside of it.
"You left these in Leesburg right before you moved and I wanted to return them.

I saw a smaller box and I opened it. Our friendship bracelets were sitting at the bottom and I picked them up. Sadie crawled to me and grabbed it. She started chewing on it and Thomas grabbed the other one. He swung it everywhere and they loved them! I don't know why but I guess it was some connection or something. The old leather bracelets looked brand new and always has.
Amber opened the door and Thomas got up and walked to her. "Woah! What did I miss?!" She said while watching Thomas walking to her. She was so excited when she saw him get up. Then he handed her the bracelet. Her eyes lit up. "Oh my gosh!" She said taking the bracket in her hand. "Our arms were so small!" She said as she hugged me. I laughed and told her what happened today.
She laughed with me and decided to start on dinner. I really hope the kids don't have a day like they did today. Maybe I will get lucky and they will sleep all day!
