Misaki's P.O.V.
"Ugh, honestly, I really don't miss this." Misaki muttered as she tiredly trudged through the school hallways. She took a look at the watch on her wrist and noticed the final bell was about to ring.
"Thank Kami..." She sighed out, her head and shoulders dropping as she walked forward towards the school exit. She bit at her thumb in thought.
It's been 2 days since I've come back to....whatever this is.
Is this like a second-chance at life or something? Maybe because I tried to help someone? But why at this point in my life?
She mused to herself, still trying to get an understanding of the situation. This couldn't be a dream, that was for sure. And, she figured she would know if she was dead, considering, most people wouldn't survive a train crashing directly into them.
But if for some reason I've been given a second-chance...if that's what this is, then maybe...maybe I can change things before they take a turn for the worse. I ran away last time, but things are different now. I am different now.
Misaki stared at her hand, flexing it in front of her. Being back here again was one thing, but Misaki was also dealing with the possible knowledge that something was also altered with her, physically.
Before she could think on it any further, she bumped into someone in the hallway.
"Ah, shit, my bad." She expressed, averting her eyes to whoever's back she ran into. As she looked up, she saw a boy with short blonde hair, who looked seemed to be older than her. She couldn't make out his face because he wore a black mask but he gave her a dirty look.
"Watch where yah'go'in!" shouted another boy. Misaki furrowed her brows, and turned her attention onto a much taller and bigger boy. He had dark hair and a crew cut. The most noticeable part of him was the scar that ran across his nose. That, and his ugly face.
Misaki then raised her brow and pointed at the blonde boy. "I ran into him, not you. Not sure why your butting in when I already apologized."
Before the boy with the crew cut could say anything further, another voice spoke out.
"Choji, Hamada, let her be." stated another boy lowly, but with power.
Misaki turned her attention to the third boy, who had tan skin and dyed blonde hair also in a crew cut, but with shaved hair art. He had glasses and an earring on his left ear.
Her eyes widened at this as she stared at the boy in shock. His piercing blue eyes focused on her, and she felt a soft ba-thump as her heart skipped a beat. Seeing Mikey all over again was just as shocking, but seeing him for the first time again...it was different...for a variety of reasons.
Misaki breathed in deeply and attempted to calm her nerves. She knew as long as she was back here, in 2005, she needed to act as normal as possible, especially if she wanted help avoid the grim events that would happen sooner rather than later.
"Kisaki! I didn't notice you until you spoke because of your hair! When did you do that?" She questioned, eyeing his new hair style. She always remembered him sporting his usual and natural long dark locks, so this was definitely new to her.
And it wasn't as cute. Crew cut ain't your style, Kisaki.
"Just recently." He commented, averting his blue eyes from hers. He seemed to give a silent command to the two boys who were with him, as they nodded and walked off towards the schools exit.
