Misaki's P.O.V:

"Kisaki's fired? No way!"

"For real, holy shit!" 

"Huh? But why?" 

Murmurings continued to rumble around them, everyone curious as to why a captain of Toman was fired so casually. 

Tearing her eyes away from his blue ones, Misaki temporarily averted her attention to Takemichi. He looked absolutely flabbergasted. Chifuyu, who stood to his right, also looked rather astonished.

I guess that makes sense, though. I wonder if Chifuyu thought that when he gave Manjiro the report on the double-crossing during the Christmas conflict that he would be punished, but not like this. 

Misaki's thoughts were interupted as she, along with her fellow Toman members, heard Tetta's loud ramblings. 

"What're saying, Mikey? This is a joke, right?!" 

He sent their leader a wide-eyed smile, although Misaki could make out his brow twitching.

Manjiro continued to stare down at him, voice dull as he repeated himself. "I'm not joking. You're fired." 

The smile fell from Tetta's face and he once again took on that bewildered look and lowered his head. Hanma, whom Misaki had nearly forgot about in all the commotion, stomped up behind Tetta.

"Whoa whoa whoa, hold the phone Mikey," He started, a twitching smirk appearing on his face. "If you fire Kisaki, then I'm out too. Which means..." 

He spread his arms out to his sides, eyes wide. "...of the total 450 total members of Toman, the 50 former members of Mobius, as well as the 300 former members of Valhalla will all leave." 

A rather deranged sounding laugh left him and an even wider smirk appeared on his face. "You realize what that means, right? Toman will shrivel to a mere 100. Are you sure about this?" 

Not giving him a second to spare, Manjiro squinted his eyes in the direction of the tall teen. "I could care less. Toman has gotten too big, anyway." 

Hanma, who wasn't expecting such a response, dropped his smirk. Mouth open in a small 'O' he stared in Manjiro's direction, a look of confusion appearing on his face. Misaki, who was watching the interaction the same as everyone else, couldn't help the slight smirk that appeared on hers.

I don't think I've ever seen him make an expression like that before.

"Gotten too big...?" She then heard Tetta murmur, before raising his head to showcase an angry expression to all. "What the hell, Mikey?! Isn't that Toman's goal?!" 

Manjiro hummed at the former captains words. Head tilted in his direction, he said, "Then, was your instigation of the Christmas conflict done to make Toman bigger?" 

Tetta took a rigid stance at his words, while Misaki could make out more mumblings from below.

"Christmas conflict?"
