Here's a question for you; would you rather spend every night slicing your skin open, watching the blood to seap to the surface with red teary eyes, or be in love. The type of love where it feels amazing whenever you're with that person, but they don't love you back. you only realize whenever its late at night, the only light is cars passing by. you think about your favorite person, then you remember, they have a boyfriend. they were happy with that boyfriend.

that was what sapnap was going through at the moment. he had a wrinkled letter in his hand. it was written by dream. the letter had been given to him on the first day of senior year. now a year later, and the blonde had a boyfriend, and no interest in sapnap. these letters were given to him throughout the school year. with every single one, it made sapnap think about dream a thousand times more then he already did. they made his heart swell with a special warm feeling he's never felt before. he felt that if he were to bump into something, his heart would burst. sapnap's phone lit up with a small buzz. it seemed to brighten the almost pitch black room, and it made the words on the letter visible.

Sapnap remembers taking a picture of it on the bus ride home, squealing with his friends. For the next few months dream was all he could think about. He received more letters, and got into some drama. Sapnap didnt regret any of it, he felt like he was on top of the world. Well, only until the sun disappeared.

He checked his phone, not very eager to see the notification. It was from instagram.

He should've left it alone. He shouldn't click on the notif. it was a bad idea. So he did it anyways. Sapnap frowned when he found himself looking at a picture of Dream and some guy kissing. It had the sweetest song playing, and Sapnap couldn't help but add it to his playlist. Even though he would cry to the song in only a matter of moments.

It should stop any day now, right?
