I led the four to Kingsley's office.
"If this is about the apple." Lily said but stopped when Kingsley held up his hand.
"No, it is not about the apple Miss. Black. It's about training." Kingsley said.
"Training?" Zabini asked, surprised.
"Yes. Let's face it, this will end in another battle." Kingsley said.
The four nodded.
"And let's be honest you four's...training was different from the training we gave out." Kingsleys said.
"So, what you want is for us to change how we fight?" Lily asked.
"Not at all. I want you to train our people to fight like that." Kingsley shrugged.
"No offense but I don't think your people could handle the training we went through." Malfoy said. "Especially not the training Lily went through." Malfoy said. Lily looked away.
"I know. But you could train them to fight how you were taught." Kingsley said. "It could help them in battle." Kingsley said.
"I am sorry, No. How we were trained was through torture. Through having our bodies and minds ripped through. The magic we fight with is not the same magic you use. You would be asking these people to subject themselves to using dark magic. Too much dark magic can hurt you. " Lily said.
"I have looked at all those possibilities. And I know how you were trained." Kingsley said.
"You don't know. You don't know. And to say you do is horrible." Draco said.
"Then show me." Kingsley said.
"Show you?" Pansy asked.
"A memory." I said. Kingsley nodded.
"Fine. My training was the worst so you can see mine." Lily said, stepping forward.
She put her wand to her head and pulled out a shiny light.
"We don't have a Pensive." I said.
"I don't need it." She said waving her wand and her memory appeared. It looked like you were looking through a pensive, but we were not in one. We were on-lookers in her memory.
"Bellatrix." Said a cold voice in the memory. Voldemort.
"Yes, my lord." Bellatrix said, stepping forward.
"Hit her." Voldemort said.
"Crucio!" Bellatrix called. Lily's figure writhed on the floor.
"How are you not screaming?" I whispered to Lily.
"If you showed pain, it would only make it worse." She shrugged.
"Crucio!" Bellatrix called again. Lily writhed. I looked away.
The memory shifted. Lily was fighting a figure. I had no clue who it was, but they were fighting hard. All of Lily's attempts were failing.
"Avada Kedavra!" The figure yelled. She barely ducted in time. The figure shot a wordless spell and it hit Lily. She fell to the floor.
"Need to see more?" Lily asked.
"I want to see one of your most powerful fights. To show what can happen from this training." Kingsley said.
"Oh! Do the one where you fought 4 people!" Zabini said.
"Yeah, my shoulder still hurts from where you throw me into that wall." Malfoy said.
"Yeah, sorry about that." Lily said with a small laugh.
The memory shifted again and now it was of Lily fighting four other death eaters. She flung one away like it was nothing. I stood in silence watching her take on four strong, trained death eaters. She was battling Bellatrix when she yelled enough, and a black mist came out and knocked Bellatrix down.
"That was amazing." I said when we came out of the memory.
"What was that black magic you released?" Kingsleys asked.
"Don't know." Lily shrugged.
"I was just fed up with Bellatrix and lashed out. I have not been able to do it again." She said.
"Is there any way you could train them without the pain and torture? At least teach them silent spells. Or wandless magic? Anything to help us." Kingsley said.
Lily looked at the others. They shrugged.
"I don't know. Who is to say anyone would do it? People are not really lining up to learn dark magic." She said.
"True. But if it could help them survive this. I think they will." Kingsley said.
"Alright. When do we start?" Lily asked.
"Today. I will get people. Your four just get to the courtyard and set up." Kingsley said. They nodded and left.
