I threw my hair up into a messy bun. I put on some black sweat pants and a black sweatshirt. I apperated away to the manor where I found Draco waiting in the library.
"I wonder what Rita would say if she saw you in this." Draco laughed holding up the article.
"What? I feel like I have fallen into the bottom of a well that is being filled in with cement. So needless to say I don't feel the best. Plus, I think I look amazing." I said. He laughed.
"It was a great quote, I love you too." I smiled, going to pull books down from the shelves.
"Yes, I thought you would like it." He said picking up a book on Unbreakable vows.
We sat silently reading until a little elf came in with tea and crumpets.
"Thank you." I told the little elf. She blushed and ran away. "Was it something I said?" I asked Draco.
"No, that was Mippy, she is kind of scared of you. She thinks your scary and mean." Draco laughed.
"How did you put in the article 'She is quite nice' I believe?" I laughed.
"It is true you're nice to some people like me, Parkinson or Zabini but to others mean." Draco sighed, drinking his tea.
"I only am nice to those I trust." I smiled.
He laughed then went back to reading. I picked up a book on Horcruxes.
"Horcruxes are a dangerous thing to make. The act of making one must have the death of a person than putting the piece of your soul into another thing. Very few have successfully made Horcrux because of what it takes. Even rare is a Horcrux that has been put into a person. The dark magic will spread over the whole person's body slowly leeching the life from them the more they use the magic. There is sadly no way to help them. You just must let it take its course and drain the life out of the person. To-" I slammed the book shut.
"What was in that one?" Draco asked, not looking up from his book.
"Oh, just how very few people survive becoming a Horcrux. How the more they use the dark magic will kill them." I sighed.
"So, nothing new?" Draco asked, finally looking up.
"Yeah, I know but it still hurts." I smiled.
I went back to the shelf and looked at other books.
"Lily!" Draco called.
"What?" I called back.
"Come quick!" He yelled.
I ran back out and pulled out my wand. When I got there only Draco was sitting looking at a book.
"Geez girl, no one is here. You can breathe." Draco said as I slid my wand back into its holder.
"Sorry. I just...What did you need?" I asked.
"Here look I found this. 'The unbreakable vow is almost certain death. The unbreakable vow never expires. It only breaks if one is dead. No matter how much you try to go around it the only way to break it is to go back on your promise. A person who is deathly ill can break it and it has been shown that they can break the vow and not die immediately because the dark magic will already be killing them. The other will not know when the vow is broken.'" Draco read.
I sat down.
"So, I can break it and I won't die because I already am?" I asked.
"I am assuming-" He said but was cut off but my dark mark started burning. "Is yours?" He asked"? I nodded.
"Let's go." I said pulling my hair out of its bun. I snapped my fingers and changed my outfit into a green skintight dress and a death eater robe.
