"Unnie..."
"Lisa."
I looked at her and wondered what in the world did I do to deserve a situation like this.
"Wh-" we spoke in unison but my words shattered.
"What are you doing here, Lis?" I am sweating. This is not the situation I want to bump into. How am I going to explain why I am here. I can't just tell her I came to visit Jimin-- she does not even know I am friends with him.
"I am getting headaches unnie, so I came to pick up meds. " I excused. Maybe it is a white lie. I do get migraines from time to time. Maybe there is more to my current situation, I find it funny.
"What about you unnie?" I asked, hoping she could shrug off the white lie and thank goodness she did.
"Yeri sprained her ankle from practice so I am visiting her. Want to go with me?" Irene unnie asked as she pointed Yeri's room. I was not informed that Yeri got into an accident. I should go visit her but I need to tell YG as soon as possible too.
"Unnie I would love to but I have a meeting with YG in 10 minutes..."
"Well, you must be in a hurry then. Just visit later then?"
"I will make sure unnie. Tell Yeri I said get well soon!"
She walked to Yeri's room and she waved to me.
Years ago, I could say nothing but the truth. Now I am talking like there was never the truth. I keep lying. To everyone. Everyone who helped me.

"Lisa, how can I help you?" I arrive in YG's room and he is sitting on his table as if he has been waiting for my arrival all day. Time for confession. I hope this works out.
"I have to tell you something and I am so sorry if this will badly affect your company but it is reality, after all."
I paused. I know YG will understand but others will surely not. Not everyone has sympathy above all.
"I have bone cancer stage 1, on the verge of going stage 2. "
Silence.
I sighed.

Lisa exited the room, going back to the hospital for Yeri.
The conversation with YG went as expected-- he was shocked and worried. Maybe he was not selfish as everyone else thought. He called in his secretary to schedule a break for them all. They are busy of course, but everyone knows they do not release music every month. This break might as well be their inspiration to for a new song.
May-- they shall be back from Hawaii on May.

"Yeri! what did you do to let this happen?"
"Lis, it is just a minor injury so do not worry."
"Sh. You do not know how the size of the injury can worry someone."
"I am fine, Lalalisa." the petite girl lying on the bed giggled.
It is funny how she is supposed to be on a bed too, lying down to rest from cancer and get cure asap but no. That for sure will not happen anytime soon.

Maybe just maybe one day, everything will be fine again.
