"I just can't believe the others didn't want to go camping with us!" said Skylene as she threw her arms in the air.

"I mean, this really isn't camping.." Xanthous told her.

The duo was currently outside of the academy with their bed, AND I MEAN JUST A BED.

Don't ask me how they even did that.

"Yes it is! We are sleeping outside and burning animals!" Skylene said cheerfully.

Oh, I also forgot to add, there was a burnt frog on Xanthous' head.

"Well, I guess you could say that." Xanthous told her, looking off in the distance.

It was silent. All they could hear was the fire crackling on Xanthous' head and some gryphons in the distance. It was a beautiful night, really. The stars lit up above their heads, small but bright stars were scattered across the night sky. They twinkled upon them as a smile appeared on the duo's faces.

"How can stars look so beautiful.." Skylene said out loud. "They're literally just lights in the skies."

Xanthous chuckled and responded. "I don't know, it's fascinating though."

"Do you think we can keep one?" Skylene asked him.

Xanthous narrowed his eyes at his friend. "What."

Skylene cleared her throat. "You heard me, can we keep one?"

"Of course not." He responded back.

Skylene stood up from her bed and jumped off as she put her hands on her hips. "And why is that?"

Xanthous looked to the side. "Well...I-"

"You don't know, do you?" Skylene interrupted him.

"Noooo, why would you think that?" Xanthous chuckled nervously and looked back at her to see Skylene glaring at him. "Okay, maybe I don't kno-"

"HAAA! I KNEW IT! Victory!" Skylene exclaimed as she jumped up and down.

Xanthous just watched her as he tried to hide a smile. "You look like a flopping fish right now."

Skylene stopped and looked at him. "I will literally throw my bed in your face."

"I'd like to see you try." Xanthous smirked, challenging her.

Skylene grinned and went over to her bed and used up all her strength to pick it up. But, she failed miserably and fell backwards, panting.

Xanthous bursted out laughing as Skylene groaned.

"It's not that funny-"

"You're not funny." Xanthous said but soon, realized what he said. "WAIT WAIT-"

Skylene started splashing water in his face with her palm as she giggled. "Payback."

Xanthous was about to throw a fireball at his friend but stopped when he saw the girl's watered hair. "Oh."

Skylene smirked . "I know, I'm basically invincible. WAIT, YOU WERE GONNA BURN ME-"

"Yeah yeah, whatever." Xanthous said as he rolled his eyes playfully.

"Aw, Xanny is mad." Says Skylene as she pretended to be sad.

"Do NOT call me that!" Xanthous told her as he glared.

"Then, why does Lucy get to call you that? Hmmmm?" Skylene questioned.

"It's literally so embarrassing.." He replied as he stuffed his face in his pillow, he could hear Skylene laughing in the background.
