I peeked over the edge of the roof and down at the first floor of the Pube. Tommy and Tubbo were still standing there and talking, so I stretched a bit farther to try to hear.

"Go eat a flower, bee boy."

"Tommy—it's not like you're much better. You're a vegetarian."

"I know, and I hate it! It's so fucking annoying!" Tommy crossed his arms and his red wings twitched behind him.

It's time. Tommy was standing right up against the edge—exactly where I wanted him. I lowered into a crouching position, my tail flicking gently behind me, before leaping off the edge of the roof.

"Boo!" I yelled, landing directly in front of him. Tommy screamed in surprise, tipping precariously backwards and off the edge of the floating island. Tubbo gasped in surprise as well while he hovered a few inches above the ground.

"What the fuck, (Y/n)!" Tommy shouted, fumbling awkwardly in the air, "You always appear out of nowhere and scare the shit out of me! Can't you just—" His voice grew softer as he slowly drifted towards the ground below, his wings fluttering to slow his fall, until I could no longer hear him.

"Great timing," Tubbo said with an amused smile, "I was just thinking that you'd be wasting a perfect opportunity if you didn't appear soon." I laughed and stood upright again as Tubbo lowered back down to the ground.

"I'll race you down there, yeah?" I asked eagerly.

"You literally just fall, (Y/n)," Tubbo said, rolling his eyes lightheartedly, "It's not exactly a race."

"Still, I'll meet you down!" I somersaulted off the edge of the Pube's floating island, pulling myself into a tight ball to turn flips in the air, before straightening to land upright on the ground.

"Fucking show off," Tommy muttered, walking up beside me, "That's the fifth time this week, you prick!" I laughed, watching Tubbo drift towards the ground with his tiny bee wings.

"Let's go find the others," Tubbo suggested after landing. In agreement, the three of us walked towards Wilbur's house. Tommy complained the whole way about anything he could think of; from his shitty power of 'walking faster' (as he put it) to the annoyance of Wilbur appearing out of nowhere to spook him.

"—just like you do!" Tommy exclaimed in exasperation, "He just goes 'poof!' in front of me and then laughs like an dick at my reaction!"

"Hey guys!" A floating helmet and stick ran towards them.

"Speak of him and he shall come," I said with a smirk, "Hey, Wilbur. How's the building going?" His invisible self came to a stop in front of us.

"Great, we finished putting in Niki's fish tank just now," Wilbur replied cheerfully, "You should come; Phil, Niki, and Sneeg are already there."

"Where do you think we were going?" Tommy questioned sarcastically.

"I mean, I don't know. You could have been looking for a nice place to sleep with fresh air—" Wilbur teased, knocking into the boy's shoulder. Tommy sputtered angrily as Tubbo and I broke into laughter.

"Come on, now, let's hurry up," I said between laughs, "By the way, d'you know where Schlatt is, Will?" We started walking again, with the floating helmet of Wilbur a few paces in front of us.

"Um, let me think," he hummed in thought, "I'm not sure. Phil might know— you should ask him." When we entered Wilbur's house, he switched out of invisibility and smiled at us cheerfully. Phil was sitting in a chair with Sneeg on the table next to him.

"Hello," Phil greeted, looking up from the book he was reading, as Sneeg waved as well.

"Phil," Tommy whined, dragging out the last syllable, "(Y/n) jumped off the roof of the Pube and scared me again." Phil laughed, directing a glance at me, while Tommy frowned in annoyance.
