"Tommy's here, isn't he?" I deadpanned, raising my eyebrow in Techno's direction.
"Yeah I am, bitch!" A familiar voice exclaimed muffedly from somewhere to my right. The suspicious crate tipped over and a lanky boy with blonde hair tumbled out onto the floor.
"Tommy—" the pigman sighed, pinching between his eyes, "You're lucky that it's (Y/n) and not anyone else. Why were you making so much noise?" Tommy stood up and brushed off his shirt with his hands.
"I dunno," he shrugged as Techno looked at him expectantly. The boy took a large bite out of a golden colored apple in his hand.
"Ay, why are you eating those?" Techno asked in surprise, "Those are my golden apples, not simple food! You can't just eat them all!" He swiped at the apple but the blonde stepped out of his reach and stuck out his tongue.
"I need my absorption!" Tommy declared loudly, "Besides, you've got stacks of these, Techno!" The pinked haired male sighed and shook his head in disbelief before turning back to me.
"I've got another secret for you," he said sheepishly.
"Don't worry, my lips are sealed," I smiled, "How are you, Tommy? You know, Tubbo and I tried to visit you yesterday—but we found Logstedshire destroyed. Tubbo thinks you're dead."
"He does?" A look of concern flashed across the boy's face before being replaced by an emotionless expression. "Well, I left Logstedshire after Dream blew it up. I've been here for a few days. What are you doing here, (Y/n)?"
"Making amends and fixing misunderstandings," I explained, "You must know about what just happened between L'Manburg and Techno."
"Yeah, I know," Tommy nodded, "but Technoblade never dies!" He bounced over to the pigman and playfully punched him in the arm. Techno rolled his eyes lightheartedly.
"So, Tommy...are you not upset with me anymore?" I questioned , "Last time I visited, it seemed like you hated me and everyone else in L'Manburg."
A thoughtful expression crossed the boy's face. "Well, you and Techno are friends, aren't you?"
Techno and I shared a look and then both nodded.
"Then I guess I can forgive you. I know you didn't have much choice in what Tubbo did, since it was his choice," the blonde stated, "I still can't forgive the others, though."
Tubbo included, I guess. It's going to be harder than I imagined to bring these two back together.
"Do you want to go back to L'Manburg?" I asked him hopefully, "Maybe you can solve your differences." The blonde bristled at my words.
"No, I don't," Tommy said, "They exiled me. They don't care about me anymore." I bit my lip. At the moment, I could tell that there was no chance of me convincing him that Tubbo and the others still cared about him. The least I could do was let him understand that I did.
"I care about you, Tommy," I told him, "I visited you as soon as Dream would let me and here I am now, promising to keep your existence here a secret. Can you trust me at least?"
"I—well, I guess," he muttered in response, "It's not like I have much choice, you already know I'm here. Will you really not tell anyone in L'Manberg that I'm here?"
"I won't until you and Techno allow me to, if at all," I promised with a nod. Tommy gave me a small smile, the first expression of happiness towards me that I had seen in a long time. I couldn't help but be reminded of all the times I had spent with Tommy during the war and in L'Manberg. When the two of us fetched my stuff from the White House. When myself, Tubbo, and Tommy fooled around in Pogtopia. When we worked alongside each other during the construction of new L'Manburg.
