"So what are we going to do with the craters?" Tommy asked. Tubbo leaned back in his chair and tapped his fingers against the desk. It was quite the nostalgic feeling to see Tubbo at the same desk that Schlatt had used.

"We could fill them in, but that would take awhile," Big Q noted.

"I'm not sure how exactly to do this, but I want to leave the craters," Tubbo said, "I want them to be a reminder of all the hardships L'Manberg has gone through. But, then, how would we rebuild if the craters are there?"

"We could leave a small area untouched as a memorial," Tommy suggested, "And fill in the rest. That way we can still rebuild but there's a small area dedicated to the war."

"I've got an idea," I said, snapping my fingers, "What if we rebuilt L'Manberg on stilts? The craters and stuff are all underneath —maybe fill them with water so they're not as much of a danger— and we build poles and walkways over the craters." Tubbo sat up and clapped his hands excitedly.

"That's a great idea!" he exclaimed happily, "That way, we can leave the craters without them standing in the way of our building. We could build all the houses and buildings up higher, and have the paths and walkways over the craters. I think it would look great, too!"

"It's also probably a good idea to fill them with water," Big Q snickered, "Else a couple citizens break their legs from fall damage."

"Then it's settled," Tubbo concluded, "We'll build L'Manberg over the damage. (Y/n), I want you and Niki to be in charge of construction. Big Q, you'll help them in gathering materials." Big Q and I nodded before leaving the White House. Glancing upwards, I smiled at the sight of the original L'Manberg flag flying proudly above.

"Do you know where Niki is?" Big Q asked me.

"She's probably at her bakery," I replied, "Come on, I'll show you where it is." The two of us jogged through L'Manberg, dodging piles of the remaining debris and weaving around larger craters. We waved to Fundy as we passed him and a few others cleaning up some of the rubble. Finally, we made it to Niki's bakery.

I pushed the door open and held it for Big Q, who slipped through and nodded his thanks to me. A bandage was still taped to his nose from where I punched him. Since that day, though, the two of us had managed to get along pretty well. Tommy was right when he said that Big Q was a pretty nice person.

"Hello? Who is it?" Niki called out, sticking her head out of the kitchen. I waved to her and she smiled, walking over to us. Niki was another person I had reconciled with after the war. She felt bad about believing I was a traitor, and delivered me a few of her baked goods the other day. Once I found out how good she was at baking, our friendship began to blossom.

"Hi Niki, how's the bakery doing?" I asked pleasantly.

"It's going well! You should come by more often, (Y/n), and I'll give you a few things to take with you," she told me, "So, what brings you and Quackity here?"

"I definitely will swing by more in the future. We're here on official business, Niki," I replied, "Tubbo wants you and me to be in charge of L'Manberg reconstruction."

"Oh, he does? That sounds fun!" Niki commented, "What does he have in mind?"

"We're going to build L'Manberg on stilts over the craters. Tubbo wanted to leave the craters as a reminder of the war," I told her, "I've got an idea or two in mind, but you're the official Creative Director. Can you think of anything good?" Niki smiled brightly and shut her eyes in thought.

"Oh, I can imagine it," she said, "It'll look so nice! I just need a few minutes to close up the bakery and then we can start."

"Sounds great," I replied, nodding, "We'll meet you outside the White House, okay?"
