It was a normal day with fine weather and Jennie couldn't be more delighted. She was asked by their teacher to help Lisa (who she adores)on her biology subject. The feline eyes smiled like the sun.
Three knocks by her ball of a fist, and it revealed the much matured version of the blonde. "Good day, Mrs. Monoban, Mr. Benson assigned me to tutor Lis" she stated. "Is that so, please be patient with my daughter. She can be grumpy sometimes" the woman said in a apologetic tone.
"Oh no worries." The brunette chuckled, and waved her hand. "Lisa, honey your classmate Jennie is here." Mrs. Manoban shouted. The Manoban's household is nothing but homely. Cozy with it's white and cream paint. Vases that the burnett think is from the 1990's. She stopped on her track to examine the family's portrait picture. Her lips tugged up as she saw Lisa smiling on it.
She barely see the girl like this, Lisa is mostly alone. Aloof from the students and dislike unnecessary noises. Often on the corner with her headphones, music blasting in her ears. But this doesn't bother Jennie in any aspect. Actually, she finds her mysterious and cute at the same time.
"Are you done staring?" Jennie jumped when Lisa spoke. The brunette threw daggers and the blonde shrugged. Lisa didn't wait for her and went upstairs. Jennie following her behind, admiring her broad shoulders. The older girl didn't notice that the latter is looking at her from her peripheral view with a sly smile.
"Should we start?" Jennie nervously asked. Being close to her crush is nerve racking. The tension between them is undeniable strong.
"We should, unless you want to do something else?" Lisa answered sarcastically. The brunette's eyes widen and she denied by scoffing at the blonde.
"Do you have an extra chair?" The older noticed that Lisa only have one. The blonde shook her head and laid flat on her bed. She tapped the sheet, earning Jennie's attention.
"The bed is spacious enough" she said. The brunette nod and placed her bag down beside the frame before getting her notes out. She breath deeply when she saw the younger one studying her.
"Uhm, here...this my notes this past weeks. It has all the things you need to know" said Jennie and pushed the material towards Lisa.
"Aren't you supposed to teach me" Lisa raised a brow. Monitoring the older one's movement and reactions. This is the closet they have been. And Jennie's beauty charmed her. "Yes" replied Jennie in a small voice.
"Can we highlight words and meanings so I could remember them easier?" The blonde uttered.
"Sure" it took Jennie a few blinks before having the courage to face her.
"Ok, let's start" when Lisa felt Jennie not moving, she her called out. "Come here"
After her baby steps, the brunette settled before her. She reminds herself to be responsible. And so she did, almost half an hour into the lesson they got more comfortable. Not realizing they're getting closer.
"Natural Sele-" the brunette became silent when her eyes landed at Lisa who's staring back at her. Both of them gulped at their distance, feeling hot inside the air conditioned room. "You should...highlight this and the other important things" it came out a whispers.
Jennie was in the moment, closing her eyes thinking that her lips agaisnt Lisa would make her shiver. Especially that the latter's mouth is slightly parted, it was torture. Though her imagination is not far from what happened. Because seconds later she felt a cold touch on her nose. And was greeted by small giggles. But it was not Lisa's lips that landed, it was the tip of the marker.
The brunette stroke her nose "why did you do that?"
"You said highlight the important things"
Little did Jennie know, Lisa purposely failed her subject to be taught by her crush.
