Lalisa Manoban was a meticulous type of person, in her life and work, she takes everything seriously. Born as the heir of the Manoban Industries, the wealthy bachelorette grew respected by people. Since she was young, the woman was thought to be perfect. From learning languages, instruments, arts, and sports. Lisa was seen as a gem of the family.
But for some, the woman appears to be intimidated, her words were firm and calculated. Once was thought of as humorless because of her lack of enthusiasm. Everything about her comes out of business, and her piercing honey almond eyes don't help to change their minds.
Because of her spine-shivering aura, their employees learned to fear her, the same goes with their partners in the business. And as the future queen of one of the biggest empires in the world, she is an apple of the eye. Known very well in public as cameras follow her every move and graze top magazines. She is unstoppable, admired by men and women. It seems the bachelorette can get anything wrapped around her fingers.
Considered as a lioness, no one had come to tame the woman. No one dares and no one plans to do so, except for a florist named Jennie. The very opposite of Manoban's heir, the 25 years old woman is everything but intimidating. She was this social butterfly and the easy-go-lucky girl the town loves. An adventurous and all smiley lady. The two met when Jennie accidentally delivered the 20 sets of flowers to the wrong apartment, and it was none other than Lisa's. "It was told here that it is room number-" Jennie tried to explain but was cut off. "You're unprofessional gathering information of your customer." The latter said,
"I can't be wrong, this is the unit number," Jennie murmured, furious. Lisa stared at her emptily, "Miss, I didn't order anything. Can you please step out of the way, you're wasting my time." Jennie was left in embarrassment and awe. It wasn't their last encounter, the second time is at a wedding.
The florist with her team was hired to decorate. And was invited to the reception as well, "This one looks really good" she took a piece of the meat and melt it in her mouth. "Hmm" with closed eyes she savors its taste, swaying her hips at its deliciousness. She slowly blink and immediately froze to see the familiar woman stunned watching her.
Heart rises to her face and she swiftly turned back. "What are you doing Jennie," the lady said to herself. She played it cool by diverting her attention to the foods, subtly glancing at the woman beside her. When she notices Lisa placing a little to no amount, she spaced out. Only to be surprised when the latter chuckled.
"I might melt, miss" it was the contrary because it was Jennie who melted, Lisa smiled."You got to be kidding me" Jennie's eyes widen a fraction when she came across with bachelorette at her shop. Lisa didn't seem to see her first and proceeded to check the flowers when nothing caught her interest she went to the nearest staff, and it was Jennie. "Excuse me, do you customize orders?" As soon as her sight landed at the lady, the side of her lips rose.
"Uhm..." Jennie gulped facing the woman, getting herself back she nodded. She runs behind the counter and composed her posture. "Any special occasions? Events? Person?" She busied herself finding her notebook. Lisa amusingly observes her, putting her hands inside her coat's pockets. "A person..." She replied
Jennie bob her head, "she, him, them..." She trailed. Lisa shorten their distance "I want something elegant and simple" the latter stated. "Any specific color?" Lisa shook her head "Anything will be fine" slightly bothered by how calm she talks.
"Should I put dedication, Ma'am?" Jennie moistened her lower lip, nervous with the woman's presence. It was rare to have a customer like Lalisa Manoban. "Yes, can you write, Happy birthday, and I love you" the florist stopped for a second, hearing the three words slipped from the heiress is something worth keeping.
"Lucky girl..." Jennie assumed, whispering under her breath. "It's actually for my mother" a sly smile formed on Lisa's lips. The florist's brow slightly knitted, suppressing her lips to mirror the latter's. She can't point out what she had felt when Lisa told her it's for her mother. "Noted, Ma'am"
"We've met again" Jennie dropped her chip when someone spoke from behind. She cranked her head to see who is it. To her confusion, it was the bachelorette. Odd to see her walking around an empty park. Jennie looked around to catch any cameras. "No one is following me here, you don't have to worry." The shorter one pushed her feet as she released the swing.
"I'm sorry" Jennie everted her sight on the ground, Lisa held the chains looking at her apologetically. The older one bit her lip and smiled, still not sparing a glance. "It's fine" Lisa wasn't convinced and stood, to kneel before the brunette. She caressed her knees, "If you don't want me anymore, I understand-"
Jennie quickly stopped her, "I always want you" she comb the latter's hair. "But I'm hurting you" Lisa mumbled, tilting her head up. Her eyes were glassy and on the verge of crying. The side Jennie could only witness. "This is my choice Lisa, I wanted this" the florist brush her thumb across her brows.
The latter intertwined their hands, "I don't want to hide you anymore. I want to hold your hands in the streets. I want to shout that I love you" her voice broke, and her tears finally flowed. Jennie pulled her for an embrace. "It's still not the right time love" she kissed her temple.
Lisa back away and cuffed her face "I don't care about what others will say. If you want, we'll go somewhere far." Jennie smiled sadly "You want that right? I have a house near the beach, a few neighbors like you wished. We'll live in peace" Lisa sobbed.
Jennie broke down, placing her forehead against the latter. "I can leave everything behind Jennie, just to be with you" Lisa claimed her lips. "I love you, be with me-"
The two parted when they heard a shutter, fear consumed the florist's eyes, while the heiress panicked. All of their secret rendezvous ended. They know someday they need to separate, one day they'll be apart. And that day has come.
"Go-"
