I will make a new one-shot book, at some other time. But promise I will.

This was entitled "Years", inspired by the song YEARS by Ryu. As per requested by one of my readers. I hope you enjoy the last short story, and let's see each other in the next one!

"We need you're cooperation Miss Kim." the man in his dark blue uniform sternly uttered, patiently waiting for the woman's response.

The woman's mouth parted, but then closed. The policeman sighed and leaned his back on the chair. It's been the same for hours.

"Her wounds might take time to heal, she should not do any extraneous activities." The nurse spoke, finishing wrapping the bandage around the woman's hand.

She then glanced at her hand and saw the traces of her blood on the white cloth. The woman slightly raises the bruised hand and turned it. The policemen and nurse watch her examine herself.

"I think he does not want to talk. We're wasting our time." the woman's eyes blinked twice as her heart stopped hearing the word.

Time

The people surrounding her were in confusion when tears abruptly formed in her eyes. Immediately her expression changes.

"What year is it and Where Am I?" her first words shocked the authorities and the nurse.

Her out-of-place sense of fashion, with high black boots, dark tattered slacks unexplainable styled shirt, and unusual demeanor wasn't enough to baffle them. She just needs to add more to their questions.

"You're in Seoul, and it's 2022, don't you remember anything?" one of the police asked. The woman diverted her eyes outside of the station, the sky is waking up. Her heart aches, she does remember. She remembers everything.

"I made it," she whispered, her tears finally falling one by one. The men look at each other before shaking their heads.

"Hi, you've been working all day. Are you not tired?" Jennie giggled as she remove her accessories and proceeded to her girlfriend of 10 years, who was burning herself solving equations.

Lisa's tiredness can't be covered by her glasses. She gave her love a small smile before welcoming her with a passionate kiss. Jennie's hand made its way to the latter's waist and pulled her softly. She loves that she's close to her.

"hmm" Lisa's moaned when Jennie tasted her lips. "That's what do every day," Lisa muttered between kisses.

They parted when they needed oxygen, Jennie stared at her lovingly, admiring every inch of her beauty, something she would never get tired of. The two remained in their position. "How, about you? What's the mission for today?" Lisa casually asked.
