Throw a pebble and it will sinkSail a paper boat and it will float
Some may ask why the smaller one descends. While the bigger piece stays at the surface.
No, it wasn't because of how hard your arms stretched throwing the pebble.
Neither because you perfectly shaped the paper boat.
The reason is density. The less something displaces water, the more it will sink.
Atlantis is a place that we believe is real, but little to no evidence made it for us to say it was true. But somehow we find a way to imagine it. It was a one-of-a-kind built, no one could come close. Yet, for some reason, they said it disappeared. Why? Because it sunk, why? Because of its people's doing.
If you ask, "but it disperses larger space. Just like a boat or a ship."
Then my answer would be, "Their sins are denser."
And just like Atlantis, where things were nearly as flawless as it is, love could fall and vanish, not because you forgot how to, but because it was no longer there. The home your love created submerges and is overcome by the pain both of you inflicted.

"You succeeded our expectations, you were not the protagonist but it feels like you are!" Lisa subtly smiled hearing her girlfriend's parents praise their daughter. The movie premier ended and they proceeded to the dinner party.
"That's too much Mom." Jennie laughed, the latter wanted to speak and give her compliments too, but she was scared to slip. Worrying that her eyes bore at Jennie and for her parents to notice how much love is in there. Instead, she crept her hand under the table, finding Jennie's smaller one.
Jennie's laugh was cut off, and Lisa felt her tense. She saw Jennie side glances her before returning her eyes to the food. Trying to keep up with her parents' appreciation. Lisa bit her lower lip, understanding, that she leisurely untangled her fingers from Jennie and focuses her attention somewhere else.
"Jennie isn't giving you a hard time dear?" Jennie's mother spoke, making Lisa shoot her with a timid smile. She shook her head.
"Not at all, Ma'am." Yes, the formality, just likes how Jennie taught her. Not aunt, not mom, not even her mother's name, but Ma'am.
