It's alarming. His actions are.

The way Kim freaking Taehyung sits by my side while drumming the wooden coffee table infront of us echoes throughout the otherwise silent room that makes my breathing stop at times he purposely emits a screeching sound.

"Why are you here?" I ask in a monotonous voice, still not throwing a glance at him. He doesn't deserve it anyways.

"Isn't that obvious? I'm here to speak with Mr. Kim"

"Mr. Kim?" an unrecognisable chortle runs out of my lips as my throat goes dry. What in the hell hole stunt is he going to pull out now? If he thinks he's acting innocent here, that's the lamest joke I've heard this season.

"When did 'Jinnie' transform into 'Mr. Kim' to you Taehyung?" I ask in disbelief, digging the nail of my forefinger into the pad of my thumb till drops of blood appear on the surface of my skin.

A new habit I've adopted after I saw Taehyung speak with y/n that day at the market. The fresh blood now staining my cloth still boils at the mere memory of him being so close to her while having disgusting thoughts inside his head. Saint or not, his head was definitely thinking about harming her in some or the other way. I know that, after all, we used to be inseparable back in the old days.

"You don't wanna know about the recent rumour going on in the town right now kookie? It is about you and that girl. I'm sure you're very much interested by now" he snickers, changing the subject into something I don't wish to hear.

"Not. Right. Now"

"Awh, is little kookie angry with his Taetae?"

Alright, he's asking for it.

Just as I'm about to pull him by his hanbok and beat the shit out of him, the creaking sound of the door gains both of our attention and my curled fists automatically loosen watching Seokjin hyung walk out while massaging his temples in worry.

"I've explained everything I can in this letter so that the soldiers guarding near the border of Daegu can understand m—oh hey Tae! When did you arrive?" the Broad shoulders man finally stops in the middle of our conversation as he pays attention to the child-man beside me and raises both of his eyebrows in suspension.

God! It took more than a minute for him to notice my alarming expression.

"I came by some days ago. Thought I'd meet you before going back to work that is pending in Daegu. But—" the speaking man suddenly looks at me with confusion laced on his face before averting his gaze to speak further. "But, why is he going to Daegu now? Isn't he supposed to be here for the annual  town fest beholding next week?" the said man furrows his brows while glancing between me and the oldest in the room, trying to figure out what we're speaking unbeknownst to him in his presence.

"And why are you writing a letter to the soldiers when he can have the seal of the town's mayor?....... I... I smell something fishy here" he voices out his own opinion, speaking like a genius when it isn't his business at all. The businessman isn't all oblivious now, he's grown some brains after all.

"Give me the letter and prepare the things I told you a while ago hyung. I need it like ever and you're the only one that I can trust and seek help from. See you later" I ignore the stupid staring at us in complete disbelief and hurry up to walk towards the exit after taking the letter from the eldest. Taehyung grumbles something about being 'bratty' and hyung shushs him with a dark glare.

"Hey! You promised to meet me tonight. Have you forgotten the deal?" the said man yells in frustration as I hear hyung trying to calm him down while speaking softly. There's so little time for me to just sit here and listen to his shit.
