Was he happy after finally revealing the truth?

Hell no.

It was hard to keep any secrets from you. Heart yearning to know what you remember after passing so many years without him. Skin burning to be acknowledged by your eyes ever since he got to know about your true identity.

The thoughts of you rejecting him and walking away from his life once again was killing him on the inside but the facade he maintained outside was amusing even to him.

Your eyes mirrored fear like his own ones but for a different reason and the thought itself shuddered him to the bone. His mouth shouldn't have let go of that sentence.

But unfortunately he had the habit of speaking during unnecessary times.

Clenching and unclenching his fists in contemplation, he moves in your direction only to have you move backwards.

Your brows furrowed together, eyes welled up with tears, lips trembling with chattering teeth, you clutch your dress tightly in fright at his movements.

He was looking like a devil this moment. Completely different from the man who looked like he almost gave up on life when he approached you yesterday night.

Mind clogged with why's and what's, your back touches the cold wall of the large spaced living room. Feeling numb to all feelings, the first drop of tear runs down your eyes followed by second, third and course down like a river.

"H-how did.... I'm not who.. You t-think" you were anything but a lier. Building lies weren't your cup of tea. Even getting lessons from your cousin on how to lie during his entire summer break, you couldn't master the art of lying.

Such a shame noona.

You could still remember the words he let out on the night he left to his hometown. It made you sick knowing you couldn't lie a single time in your entire life, but you somehow got over that, until now.

"Don't lie to me y/n, I know you can't lie. You can never lie. I know a lot more things about you" the raven headed speaks in a calm tone as he approaches you.

His warm breath fans your cheeks as he tilts his head at an angle where he can see your plump lips biting to conceal the chattering of your teeth.

Despite fearing of the consequences, you tried to look hard on the outside and he had hide a smile at your actions.

You hadn't changed in ages. You looked the same, spoke the same and behaved the same way. The same girl who walked along the tulip garden. The same girl who looked ethereal even while wearing an old, torn, little hanbok.

Your chest heaved in a rough manner and he was sure he heard your little hiccup.

He hated how he felt pleased to hear your tears and hiccups. He was sick. He was completely in control of his father who taught that being sadist is and always will be a way to achieve a higher place in politics. He brain washed him into a evil person, unleashing a deadly monster and Jungkook loathed the fact that he was a Jeon.

If only I was a normal kid.

Holding your hands infront of you as a shield, you look right into his brown eyes that are now reflecting nothing but guilt and... Adoration?

The man who just revealed your identity, the identity of the daughter of the enemy town was looking at you with adoration?

You couldn't understand him. Not when he switched behaviours in the blink of an eye. The look on his face when he revealed your true name was one with fire burning anything into ashes. And now he was completely soft. How could anyone understand what goes on inside his head.
