C/N was basically considered a picture-perfect guy within our school. Pretty much everyone in our school, regardless of sexuality, admitted that he was attractive. Some even went further and said that they would hit if they were given the chance. I can't say that I disagree, but I've never said it out loud.

I have seen a few other guys wonder why the girls especially fawn over him, because he isn't your typically masculine guy. They fail to understand that most girls don't actually care about strength, but in fact care about whether or not a guy will lose his temper easily and refuse to cry, i.e. we want a guy who's secure in his masculinity. The fact C/N has prospects of a full scholarship to one of the best universities and a nice car are small bonuses as well.

In a yearbook, he would definitely be voted most likely to succeed. That boy was going places, and everyone wanted to be the one to be by his side when he did.

I generally try to avoid him at all costs, since I don't want to get too attached. I focus on my studies and I have very good chances of a scholarship to a top university as well. While I don't have a nice car or come from a widely known and respected family, I take comfort in knowing I am supported by my parents and siblings emotionally.

I'll worry about finding a guy like C/N when I'm older.

Although, who knows if finding another guy like C/N is even possible? It probably isn't, but if I'm successful myself, then I can take care of that for anyone I'm in a relationship with.

Even as I walk down the corridor now, I see him heading in the opposite direction, carrying a couple books in his arms and talking to one of his friends. He looks perfect doing such simple things.

I know I said earlier that girls care more about a secure masculinity than strength, but that doesn't mean it isn't attractive that C/N evidently works out. He's over six foot tall as well, so he has towered over me a bit on the times I have been lucky enough to stand close to him.

Sometimes I let myself imagine what a relationship between us would be like: I imagine that he would always be on time for everything, and that we would never argue but instead talk everything out calmly and maturely. He seems like that kind of person.
