On the way to school, Matthew had a bit of pep in his step and a dumb smile on his face, excited for what the day would bring, while Alex held Kevin's hand, swinging them back and forth with a soft smile, until the wolf sighed heavily.

Earning both eagle and kitten's attention, until they noticed Kevin slightly glaring at Matthew, who flinched, "We get it, you're excited. But for fuk sake, quiet it," the redhead said, annoyed.

As Matthew gave a nervous chuckle, "Sorry," he answered sheepishly while rubbing the back of his neck, until Alex gently squeezed Kevin's hand, gaining the redhead's attention, but when crystal blues met honey, it was only for a moment.
To which the kitten stepped closer to Kevin. "Can I ask how old Jimmy is?" he asked, tilting his head. "About 33," Kevin answered, taking Alex by surprise.

Matthew was secretly thankful that Alex took the heat off of him once more.

Considering how quickly he was able to calm Kevin down and defuse the situation, "Really? He doesn't look that old," Alex asked, to which the wolf nodded, confirming the information.

When the trio arrived at the school campus as Alex started looking around for a certain purple-haired teen while following the two older males into the school building, until he tapped on the head, earning his attention.

"She's there," Kevin says, pointing out a familiar teen who was waiting for them, her attention on the floor while hugging her books close to her chest.

"Oh! Jessie," the kitten says as he let go of Kevin's hand, then made his way to the purple-haired teen, who looked up and gave Alex a shy smile, "Good morning," the brunette says once he was close to her, "G-good morning," Jessie stammered a bit, "Morning," Matthew chimes in as well, while Kevin only gave a slight nod of his head.

"So, how did your morning go?" Alex asked, drawing Jessie's attention as she looked at the ground once more, "It... It went well," she stammered out a bit, before hugging her notebooks tighter, "u-um... H-how about you?" she then asked while glancing up at Alex.

Who thought about his morning, as his face began heating up a little, remembered what had happened earlier, until he shook his head to clear his thoughts, "It- It went well," the kitten says, while Matthew rubbed the back of his head.
"It was well... Until I got scolded by Kevin," the eagle admitted, a bit embarrassed, but she was technically a new friend of Alex's, so he considered her a friend as well.

"Then you probably should have done your homework earlier," Kevin says, scolding the eagle slightly until he shifted his attention towards Jessie, who squeaked, "Fine," he answered.

When Jessie gave a shy nod of her head, her gaze shifted towards the ground, until Alex spoke up, "How about your morning?" the kitten asked with a tilt of his head.

"Oh, uh... It was ok," Jessie answered, her voice soft when the group began walking together to head to class, as Alex nodded his head, before changing the subject, "Um... We're having a birthday party after school, would you like to join?" the kitten asked.

Which piqued Jessie's interest a bit at being asked to join a birthday party when they've known each other for a few days now, as a small gasp leaves her lips, before she nods her head, agreeing without a second thought.

Making Alex smile when Kevin reached over and placed a hand on the kitten's head, stopping the brunette from what he was planning to do earlier.

Resulting in the teen giggling softly while slightly pushing against Kevin's hand in response.

As Jessie glanced in their direction, watching the way the duo interacted with one another, while Matthew started talking about whatever was on his mind at the moment about class.
