Chapter 28

Once the first class was over, nearly everyone had taken their leave to get to their next class, as Alex got up from his seat and held his hand out for Kevin to take, earning the alpha's attention as he stared at it for a second.

Before reaching out, taking the brunette's hand, and getting up from his seat with a slight grunt, Matthew was putting his papers together to ensure he had them all.

"What's our next class?" Alex questioned while looking up at Kevin, "Math," the alpha answered as he turned his attention to his class materials. When Matthew sighed, "I wish I had math with you guys," the eagle said as he almost didn't want to go to class.
"What do you have next?" Alex asked when Kevin gently nudged the kitten forward so he could pick up the brunette's materials as well. 

"Science," the duel-haired male said with another sigh, "Huh? I thought you'd wish to have Gym with us instead," the alpha said with a hint of amusement in his voice.

This caused Matthew's face to turn completely bright red before cursing at his brother in hushed Spanish, not wanting the teacher to hear him, leaving Alex confused, as the trio began leaving the classroom together while bidding Mr. Goren goodbye.
Alex then began to look around, when he noticed that Jessie had already left, which made him a little sad, but he guessed she was mainly focused on getting to her next class immediatly.

When their path was intercepted by a specific blond, Kevin rolled his eyes at the sight of her as Matthew sighed heavily while Alex slightly stepped behind the alpha.

"What? Shouldn't you be staying away from me? Prerequested by the school," the redhead questioned with a raised brow, confusing Alex at his comment, "I need to ask something. Since you've been ignoring my calls and texts," she whined a bit, but she did keep her distance.

A thick tension in the air surrounded the two, with Kevin feeling all eyes on him from the students who passed by or those mostly trying to enter Mr. Goren's class. 

"Hm. Been busy," Kevin stated with a bored look, "Busy? Busy with what?" she questioned while pouting at him, though the wolf just sighed and rolled his eyes, "Work," the alpha replied, already bored with the conversation.

"Work?" Tora questioned, as she scrunched up her nose at that, "What do you want?" Kevin says, needing to get to class, as Matthew frowned deeply at her.

The bleach blond huffed before stopping her foot, "I need Mo-"

"No," Kevin shuts her down immediatly before she could even finish her sentence, taking her off guard by this, "But mom-"

"Don't." Kevin cuts her off again at the mention of her mother, while Alex looked up at Kevin, confused about the situation at hand, as she looked to be near seconds from a breakdown, when the wolf looked over his shoulder at his teacher, who was seemingly stressed by the situation.

Before he walked over to assess the situation, "Ms. Spree, the bell is about to ring, you should get to class," he says, but the blond just huffed, "But, I need to ask my brother something," she whined.

While Kevin took the opportunity to move past their teacher and head to his next class with Alex and Matthew immediatly following after the redhead, who was getting lightheaded, with a headache coming around.

Earning Tora's attention, towards the trio who were making their escape while she was talking with their teacher.

Kevin had decided to take a detour to the nurse's office for a breather, as Alex was rubbing his back to give him some comfort, while Matthew just stood by his side, with his head down.
