Scott Walker has never been made sick the way he has today.

Panic gripped him the moment his mother barged into his little office at the precinct and told him of Annalise's message. He dug his own phone out of his computer bag and became filled with dread seeing he missed two calls from her.

The message she left was informing the Sheriff that she was taking matters into her own hands, and arriving at Reggie Cohen's townhouse.

The two Walkers wasted no time in climbing in the same car and speeding off to the house with sirens blaring. Backup followed them incase of the worst.

There is a juggle of trust at hand.

Reggie has been Scott's friend for almost their entire lives. He doesn't want to believe what Annalise Montgomery found was true.

It can't be.
It shouldn't be.

Either way, Sheriff Walker put her trust into Nancy Drew's scared phone message. She wouldn't admit it, but she admired the nineteen year old girl. She reminds her of the younger version of herself.

Scott throws himself out of the car before his mother shuts the engine off. He races up the stairs and tries opening the front door, but it's locked.

Annalise's car is parked out the front, but Reggie's isn't.

"Out of my way." The Sheriff says and breaks the lock by kicking the wooden door incredibly hard. Consequences later, safety first.

"Lis?" Scott calls and stumbles into the home. His mom follows and tells the other police car to wait out the front. No answer meets him. Sickness pools in his stomach. "Annalise?" He calls again and leaps up the stairs to the second floor.

He opens the bathroom door, nothing. Guest bedroom, nothing. Reggie's room, nothing.

"She's not here." Blondie calls down the stairs.

His mother walks away from the kitchen. Her cheeks pale from what she thinks she saw sitting on the bench.

"I'll try calling her again. She might've gone somewhere else." The Sheriff says while taking her phone out.

"And left her car here? There's no way." The moment his mother dials her number and presses the mobile to her ear, they both hear buzzing from upstairs.

She's still here- Scott thinks.

No time is wasted in rushing upstairs, both blondes nearly stumbling over each other in a race to find the sound. It's coming from Reggie's bedroom.

They rush around to the furtherest side of the bed, seeing the velvet pink scrunchie on the carpet first. Scott crashes to his knees and peers under the bed, finding the phone beneath.
