I made a bad decision.

At least I think I did. The few seconds that followed kicked second doubts into me, then after that, it's a feeling I've never endured before.

The lights steady and the world quiets. Peace. I barely feel the pain in my wrist, nor am I weighed down by my own limbs. Air is knocked away from me until it rushes back into full force.

Though I may be alone, I no longer feel lonely. I feel Lilly Montgomery's hand brush up my arm, and her whisper to me that everything will be okay.

I stare down at the empty clear bag in my hand, for a moment, not knowing what lead to me swallow the drug Chance, Chaz, or Channing gave me. At the time, I cared about nothing. I had hope that it would make me feel the same as all those painkillers and sedatives made me feel.

I already have lost everything. Losing myself isn't a big stretch. I wanted the pain to go away- I wanted that feeling to end. I could've taken one of my prescriptions, but they don't have much of an effect like this does.

It's only been a minute since I swallowed it. That minute was slow, and now, everything is still and perfect. The world is a silent bubble. Is my silent bubble.

I lay back on the carpet, still in my sister's room, and stare at the ceiling. It's calmly still. Even the air feels frozen. I can slice through it with my fingers.

"I miss you." The words are nearly clear as day. Lilly Montgomery's delightful little voice which dances around the room.

I feel each of her breaths as if she were truely here. I dig deep into my memory for the image of her to place in this room, it's enough to see her standing above me, wearing one of her short summery dresses she loves.

She fits so well with this apartment. She deserved to be here. "I miss you too." I only cough it out, not a single cry wretches from me. Some disturbed part of me is glad that I took whatever that pill was since it has turned me steady.

The vision of her is so clear that I nearly forget that this isn't real. That she's dead, and that her body was stuffed into a suitcase.

I can imagine her saying, "you made a mess of my room."

I laugh and glance around the piles of her belongings. There's smashed glass everywhere- I'm shocked I haven't cut my flesh yet.

"I'm surprised you're not hyperventilating yet. You hate mess and mismatched decor." Lilly would say and roll her eyes, though evidence of a smile would still be on her face.
