{Lola's Pov}
Later on in the day, I met up with Dad, with whom without talking, we immediately fell into an embrace. We didn't say a word and just clung on to each other because that's all we had left; each other.He pulled away.
'Honey did Nathan tell you about the flight?' he asked. I nodded.
'Yep, 10 in the morning,'
'And I've been on the phone with the church and cemetery. Funeral and burial will be Friday next week,' he said.
'Okay.' I said quietly. It was hard to think that I'd have to go to the funeral of my little sister.
'Hey... Lola... Would you, you know, sing for her? She liked it when you sang,' he said gently. I sighed and nodded.
'Yeah. Of course.'
We then stood around for a bit before I managed to ask.
'Hey Dad? Can er... Can Nathan come?' I asked him. He smiled and nodded.
'Of course. You know I had my worries about him but he's a good kid. I mean if the way he's handled this, handled us is anything to go by... You know he asked how I was holding up?' he said. I smiled and shook my head. 'I'm not bashing any of your old friends but let me just tell you none of them gave a flying toss about Nessy, let alone me.'
I laughed a little.
'You better hold onto him,'
'I don't plan on letting go.'
