This Ain't The End - Part 38

 At the gate, we had to wait ten minutes before we could board. I got my ticket and passport out when we were called up and I showed them to the people before the bridge. Then, Dad and I walked through and onto the bridge. We reach the plane door and board. I show the flight attendant my ticket and so does Dad but they lead us different ways again. Again I was in business class. LastMinuteBookings.com seemed to have out done themselves this holiday.

I put my stuff in the storage places and got the magazine out and started reading it. I found the interview with Nathan in it and realised it had been taken two days ago. When he had the concert! The interview went:

Interviewer: Whilst on a holiday in Lanzarote, I managed to find the lads from no other than The WANTED to get a quick interview with! So boys, how's Lanzarote for you? Are you enjoying the summer sun?

Max: Oh it's great! Got beaten at football on the beach by a girl though the other day.

Tom: Oh I remember that... Only because she got a headstart...

Siva: Yeah but you wouldn't count it. We won that fair and square.

Interviewer: So... Not a great start... Now the big question I've been asked by fans alike, have you singles spotted any ladies?

Tom: Yup! They've both fallen in lurrrve.

Nathan: No I haven't! She's just a friend.

Max: That's what they all say...

Siva: And Jay's not denying it!

Jay: ...

Interviewer: Haha so I heard you guys just did a small concert. How was it?

Jay: Brilliant! We had a lot more fans than we first thought here!

Siva: Yeah. It was pretty difficult to do a live active show in such hot weather, but it was quite laid back and fun!

Interviewer: That's good. Have you visited any of the landmarks here yet?

Siva: Yeah! We went to Timanfaya the other day with some friends.

Max: And Nath's taking his "friend" to some market tonight.... Love is in the air...

Nathan: Shut up!

Tom: Love is in the airr

Jay: Ba-ba-ba Ba-ba-ba...

Nathan: ...

Interviewer: Awh. That's cute. I've heard that you've done a lot of work in America and Spain as well as England... Enlighten me?

Jay: What are you? Sherlock!?

Tom: Well we did a bit of album work in the US last year and we're probably going to return this year too.

Interviewer: So are we going to lose you to America?

Max: No way! We'd miss our girls too much!

Tom: Especially Nathan.

Interviewer: So who is this girl Nathan, which the guys keep going on about?

Nathan: No one! She's just someone I met!

Siva: And fell in lurrrve with.

Nathan: No I didn't! Shut up!

Interviewer: Haha well I've got to wrap this up now. And I'm sure you boys have a lot of stuff on your schedule-

Max: Like meeting a girl *cough* Nathan *cough*

Interviewer: As do I. So thanks guys.

I noticed some people looking at me weirdly as I was smiling like an idiot whilst reading it. This sounded like them alright. I flicked through the rest of the magazine but nothing interested me. I then put it away in the storage drawer and pulled my songbook out. Songwriting was probably right now the best way to get the emotions of right now out of my system.
