We finally got there. We paid the driver and the driver drove off. I then found myself stood around a little patch of concrete with a road that looked endless.

'The complex is over there,' Dad said, pointing into the distance. So we started walking along the road. On the way, I ate the food Dad had got me. After that, the walk got longer as I kept stopping to take pictures, using the tips that Sophia had given me. She was also into photography and wanted to be a professional photographer in life. Nessy kept telling me to "hurry up and that I could take plenty of pictures when we got there". It was cute the tone she took with me. I finally stopped taking pictures and walked with Nathan and Nessy as Dad had already gone up to the complex. He'd told us beforehand that there was something he wanted to do in private there and that he trusted the two of us to take Nessy safely to the complex. I watch from the side as she started chatting animatedly to Nathan about all sorts of things like what she wanted to be when she was older, her favourite TV show and all sorts of other things. She even started telling him about the songs I'd sing to her. They were usually silly songs about funny things when she was sad but then she tugged his sleeve and he bent down as she whispered something into his ear. He furrowed his eyebrows but then a dreamy smile crept onto his face. I smiled at them. They got on so well together. I didn't know what Nessy had just told him but soon enough they were back on their feet and laughing about something or other.

After about a half an hour long walk to the complex, which seemed like an hour, we finally managed it and arrived just in time to see some man doing some sort of demonstration by the car park so we went to have a look. A man was basically making some pots sprout water. As we were watching, we suddenly heard some gasps from behind us. I turned around quickly, same with Nathan, and we saw two or three girls gawping at the boys.

'Oh no....' Nathan said quietly in my ear.

'What?' I asked him.

'Fans,' he said. I laughed.

'Are they really that bad?' I asked him. He shook his head.

'No.... Not really. We love them but it's annoying how they can intrude on our normal lives sometimes. I guess it's not really their fault most of the time though...' he said. I nodded. One girl came up to him.

'Oh my gosh! You're Nathan Sykes! Ahhh!' she said, probably a calmly for her as possible. He laughed.

'Yes, that I am,' he said. I smirked at the way he'd said it. She squealed excitedly. I looked to see the other boys being surrounded by girls as well. Soph didn't look too happy but was complacent.

'C-can I get a picture?' the fan girl asks. He nods.

'Sure,' he said. She fiddled around with her camera and I took the picture for the two of them. For the rest of the day, about 3 other fans found the boys and asked for pictures. We went on a coach tour around the volcanic site and took a walking trail around as well.

By the time it was 5, the place was getting dark so we decided to head to the shop then go home. As I was looking at some stuff, Nessy ran over to me and wrapped her arms around my legs. I smiled and picked her up.

'What's up Nessy?' I asked her. She grinned happily. I sighed.

'Alright, alright. I'll get you something,' I said. She smiled wider and hugged me. I laughed and hugged her back. Then I put her down and she went back over to Dad. Then Nathan came up to me and wrapped his arms around my body and hugged me. I accepted the hug and hugged back. Then he pulled away.

'What was that for?' I asked him. He shrugged.

'Nothing.... Just wanted a hug,' he said. I shrugged and went back to looking at the items.

'You going to get something?' he asked me. I nodded.

'Yeah.... Something for Nessy... You want me to get you something?' I asked him. He smiled strangely.

'What!? Why would you need to get me something?' he asked. Not again. I internally hit myself for being so stupid again.

'Sorry. It's just you know... Being with Nessy all the time it's hard to switch off from talking to a five year old to a normal person and I get caught in between sometimes,' I explained to him, blushing a little with embarrassment. He laughed and nodded.

'It's okay,' he said, pulling me in for another hug. We then pulled away and I went over to have a look at the soft toys. Nathan followed. We started looking at which toy Nessy would like and soon enough, he picked up an adorably cute dog toy and showed me it. I looked at it and nodded, grinning. She'd love it! I smiled at him as he handed it to me. It was so soft as well! We then went up the counter to pay for the dog.

When we went back outside with our purchase, the others had gone and Dad and Nessy were waiting for us outside. I smiled at them and walked over to them.

'Shall we go?' Dad said. I nodded.

So we walked back down the road, a lot quicker than in the morning and hailed a cab. We got in it, same places as the morning, and the cab drove off. Nessy immediately fell asleep on me. She'd had a tiring day. She'd been trailing Nathan and I around all day and we entertained her and chatted to her and kept her out of trouble. It was really nice the way Nathan and her bonded.

I smiled at the way she was sleeping. She looked exhausted. Once I was happy that she was alright, I then leant my head on Nathan's shoulder. I felt him smile as like before, we interlaced our fingers and I looked up at him. I smiled up at him. I'd never been this close with anyone before, let alone a guy I'd only known for 2 days. But he was different. He made me feel happy and special. And he filled that emptiness I felt in life. Why, I wasn't quite sure.
