We arrived at the hotel in about 45 minutes. I told Dad how much, we paid the driver and went inside the building of the hotel. As Dad went to the reception to sort out our rooms, I took Nessy to the edge of the balcony the reception was on, to have a look over.

'Do you remember coming here with Mummy?' I asked her. She shook her head. She must have been too young to remember.

'Mini club!!' she cried. I laughed. Fancy her saying stuff like that.

'Yes Nes, mini club,' I replied.

'Can we go to mini club?' she asked me.

'If you want,' I said. Suddenly, I felt a pair of hands on my shoulders. I turned to see a mini club helper, who'd been here since I was Nessy's age.

'Ahh! Lola! Welcome back this year! And who's this? Is it Nesta? Ahh! Welcome back Nesta!' Rose cried in a Spanish accent, whilst tickling Nessy under the chin. Nessy went all shy and wrapped her arms around my waist.

'You come to mini club this year, yes?' Rose asked Nessy. Nessy nodded shyly.

'Well I'll see you there! And you? You coming? I could use a little help,' she asked me, winking.

'Yeah I'll come,' I said, smiling.

'Brilliant! Enjoy your stay!' she said and walked down the steps to the lounge and outside. Then Dad came to us.

'Come on then kids! Let's go. We can go outside later,' he said. We nodded and followed him. We went up in the lift to the top floor and found our room. Nessy put the key in and I helped open the door. She ran into the room as I held the door open for Dad. He came in and I let the door close.

'Now girls, it might surprise you to know that we've managed to get connecting rooms again! So Nessy, do you want to be with me or Lola?' Dad announced and asked. We had been very good friends with the hotel manage for some time now, and so he often gave us connecting rooms at quite a cheap price. In exchange, as Dad worked for a very big catering trading company, he managed to give the hotel a discount when ordering food. Although it sounds quite business-y, it really was all out of friendship. Nessy ran over to me and wrapped her arms around my waist again. I smiled apologetically at Dad.

'Alright then. You girls have your fun. Well here's the key for your room. It's just next door,' he said, pointing to a door in the room. I reached for the door knob, turned it and opened the door and went into me and Nessy's room. We walked in and Nessy jumped onto a bed. The floor was paved with shiny cream coloured tiles. The walls were painted a plain white and on either side of the beds, there was a lamp with a golden rim. In the middle of the room, were two big queen size beds pushed close together. The beds were covered with a big colourful throw and the headboard looked as if it was made from bamboo and on the other side of the room, there was a big window, leading out to a balcony. To the side of the windows, were curtains in the same pattern as the throws.

'Mini club! Let's go to mini club!' Nessy exhaled as she lay on her back on the bed.

'Alright Nes. We'll go to mini club when we've unpacked,' I answered her sigh. Then I opened our case and unpacked all of Nessy's things and put them into a drawer, but hanging her dresses, including the new one I'd bought for her birthday this Sunday, that she obviously hadn't seen yet, up in the wardrobe. I took my shoes and socks off and let my feet pad against the smooth, cool tiles that lay on the floor. Then I changed from skinny jeans to shorts and got my jelly shoes out. I took out Nessy's cuddly toy bunny from the suitcase and threw it at her.

'Bunny!' I called to her as it landed by her side. She smiled and hugged it. She then got off the bed and grabbed her sandals I'd left out for her. I fished out my beach bag and threw in essentials; sun cream, Nessy's swimming stuff, MP3, phone, song book and a pen. I put a sun hat on and helped Nessy with her sandals. We finally put them on and I slipped into my jelly shoes and threw my sun glasses on. Then, I grabbed my camera bag and swung it around my body and headed to the door with Nessy. I wasn't a great photographer, nor was it something I wanted to do in life. But I enjoyed it and where else better to do photography than in a beautiful place like this?

'Dad, we're going to go to the mini club now,' I called to him.

'Wait! I'm coming too! Got stuff to read,' he said. He grabbed some book and sun glasses. He put his ridiculous sombrero hat, which I remember vividly Mum had gotten him one Christmas, on as well. I stifled at giggle. Then we left the room and Nessy ran to the lift to press the button. We entered the lift and it went down to the bottom floor. We got out of the lift and walked around the lounge and headed to the glass door that led outside into the sunshine.
