This Ain't The End - Part 8

 I ran out of the lift and over to the mini pool with my camera case and beach bag to see Nessy sat down on the grass, hugging her knees, waiting for me about a meter away from the water. She looked up and saw me. She ran and gave me a hug. I caught my balance and hugged her back.

'Awhh come 'ere Nessy!' I said to her, picking her up. I balanced her on my waist and walked down to the pool. She attacked my nose with her hands. I then put her down and fished out her swimsuit from my bag.

'Here you are Nes!' I said, as I helped her put her costume on. Once it was on, I put her goggles on her head and she ran to the small pool. Rose came over to me and we had a bit of a laugh about the kids. Then she got up and started games with the kids. I put my bag to the side and joined in. As I did so, I saw a family, with two girls about my age, enter the area. One of them looked really fed up and gave me an evil glare. The other looked at me and smiled apologetically. I smiled back. Then I saw a little girl run to the pool.

'Ellie!' I heard Nessy shout.

'Nessy!' the girl shouted. Nessy jumped out of the pool and ran over to the girl. I recognized the girl as the one from when we went to mini club. The mother of Ellie took Ellie over to the other two girls and got her changed. Then, Ellie ran over to us and climbed into the pool and waded over to Nessy. The two started playing about with each other. Rose and I were playing with the children as well. She had given me a pair of waterproof shorts that I got changed into, and believe me, I needed them! All the small kids got me into the small pool and I waded around with them, playing games. As I stepped out of the pool for about a tenth time that day, the girl that smiled at me came over.

'Hey! I'm Sophia. You?' She asked me.

'Lola,' I replied.

'Seeing as our sisters are getting along, I'm guessing we're going to be seeing you a lot... And I apologize in advance for my other sister... We think she's going through her goth/rebellious stage right now,' she said. I nodded, laughing a bit. I then grabbed a towel out of my bag and used it to dry my legs and stuff.

'Who you here with?' Sophia asked.

'Dad and Nessy,' I said. 'You?'

'The whole family! Mum, Ellie and Amey!' she said. I laughed, although I noticed she didn't mention her dad. I decided not to say anything.

'Nice...' I said. Then I stood up again.

'Are you going to help out with the kids? We need some help. And I warn you in advance, you're going to get wet,' I said to her. She smiled and nodded.

'Sure,' she said. So we walked back to the small pool and I stepped in.

'Lola!' Nessy cried running over to me. I slowly backed up and got out of the pool so she wouldn't wet me too much. Just before she put her wet body around me, I scooped her up and put her down again. But she still hugged me. I sighed.

'What Nessy?' I asked her. She pulled away and put that little cute grin she does on at me. I laughed.

'Go in the big pool!' she said to me.

'What? You want to go in the big pool?' I asked her. She shook her head.

'No I wan' you go to in big pool,' she said. I shook my head.

'Nah... I don't have my swimming costume. I'll get wet!' I said.

'But it's fun!' she said, splashing me with water. Unfortunately, Rose had overheard our conversation and took Nesta's side.

'Yes! Go on! Go play with the older kids!' she said. I shook my head. Suddenly, she picked me up by the arms and ran me over to the edge of the big pool.

'Aghh!' I said.

'Hey!' I heard a guy shout. I looked up and saw the guy I was sat with back at the other pools. He looked over and smirked at me as I waved. And soon enough, I knew why. As soon as we made eye contact, I felt a little shove from behind me. I lost my balance and fell into the pool.

'Ahh!' I screamed. I emerged back out of the water to see Nessy, Rose and Sophia all laughing. I cringed slightly. But then got over it and laughed with them. Nessy's laughing was just too cute. I couldn't ever be mad with her.
