This Ain't The End - Part 9

'You think that's funny Nessy!?' I asked her, swimming to the edge of the pool. I put my hands on the edge of the pool to push myself out. She screamed a little and started running away. I laughed, got myself out, shook the water off me and ran after her. She was screaming with delight.

'I'm going to get you Nessy!' I cried as I ran after her. Finally, after chasing her around the pool, I caught her and picked her up by the pool edge. She was still screaming and laughing at the same time. She was squirming so I gently put her down. She was still having a fit of giggles and went over to Ellie to tell her what'd happened. Sophia came over to me.

'Seriously. Getting pushed into a pool by a two year old,' she said, stifling a laugh.

'Five,' I corrected her.

'Oh whatever,' she said. I laughed.

'So... Fit guys aren't they?' she asked me. I laughed and shrugged. Whether they were "fit" or not didn't really strike me.

'Well they've got to be fit for you to be pushed into a pool by a five year old!' she said. I blushed and nudged her.

'Shut up! I just know one of them,' I said. She laughed.

'Come on then you two! Into the pool!' Rose said and before we could protest, I felt a hand on my back and being pushed into the pool. I heard a splash next to me. As I emerged, I saw Sophia looking annoyed, her makeup smudged. I was lucky I wore waterproof mascara. I rubbed the water out of my eyes and laughed.

'Now you know how I felt,' I said. She splashed me a little. We then looked at each other and made a silent agreement to get Rose in the pool. We both jumped out and whilst she wasn't looking, pushed her in as well!

'Ah! You girls!' she said. We laughed and jumped in.

For the rest of the day, we messed around in the pool by pushing each other in and playing with the other kids. I never got around to talk to the guy who made me lose my balance.
