Lizzie POV

As we walked down the streets i was toddling behind the two but not to far so that I could still hear their conversations.

Emma was eating her donut and Aubrey was telling her story's. They where walking hand in hand and I can't get this image out of my head on how good Aubrey is with kids.

Emma jumped up and down from time to time and she animated Aubrey to do the same. She hesitates for a moment but then she joined her for a moment and it looked adorable.

„Can you tell me from where you know Liz?" Emma asks Aubrey and I couldn't see her face fully but I could tell that she wasn't comfortable talking about this.

„well she's an old friend of mine..." she answered.

„This can't be true." Emma said and Aubrey narrowed her brows at her.

„Why's that?" she replied curious and confused.

„Friends don't Act like This..." she said. Well she is a freaking smart kid and she notices a lot of things.

„Like what?" Aubrey asked once again.

„As if you would hate each other. Do you hate her?" she asks Aubrey and she shook her head.

„I could never even if I wanted to."

„Why would you want to hate someone? I thought hate is bad?" she is so full of questions and I was dying to hear what she has to say now.

„Hate is making things sometimes easier."
My heart aches as I hear her say this.

„But Why would you-."

„Bubbles you known sometimes you ask to much.
Do you know what you wanna eat for lunch today?" she asks her as she bumped into her slightly trying to distract her and It worked for her benefit.

„I don't know. Your pasta is good." she replied and Aubrey chuckled as she nod at her.

„Alright. I'll make you some later."

Their conversation died down a bit and I noticed that we got slower than before. I believe that the gallery is really close.

„Excuse me Miss Mathews?" a lady in her mid fourties' comes around stopping us in our track.

„Yes Ma'am how can I help?" she asks glancing shortly back to me and then to her.

„I know you might get this a lot but can you sign me your record plate?" she asks Aubrey while handing her the plate over.

„Sure no Problem. Who should it be for?" she asks while taking the pen.

„I acutely brought this for my daughter today. I just noticed that it was you. She is such a huge fan and she always talks about you and listens to your music." she replied

„That's really nice to hear thank you. How old is she?" I'm genuinely surprised on how easy Aubrey is having conversations to fans and complete strangers.

„She just turned 16." Aubrey eyes widen a bit at her response.

„Wow. Sweet 16 huh? I'm surprised that she listens to my music."

„Well yeah me too. But you do have lovely lyrics and I can hear that this comes from the heart."

„y'know I'm just putting my life out there. But thank you it means a lot." She smiled softly at her.

„By the way it should be to Haley. That's my girl." the mother replied.

„A beautiful name. Here you go." she signed the record and handed it over.
