...

„Babe. It's been to long... Babe. I did this before multiple times. Seeing you like this and all. It kills me. I can't do it anymore. I'm losing myself. Please come back. I'm begging you..."

I held onto her hand while crying constantly.
She looks so pale and weak. Even though she is the strongest person I know my hope starts to fade but as I thought about it I felt her hand move.

I looked down onto our hands in shock not realizing if I just imagined this or if it was really happening.

I waited and waited and there it was her fingers moved. Oh my god I'm not hallucinating.

„Bre! Babe hey m-move again is that really you."
I looked up to her and down again and she moved her ring finger.

I chuckled while I was starting to cry again but these where happy tears. Tears of relieve and joy.
I pressed the button to get a nurse or doctor and it didn't even last a minute until doctor and nurse walked in.

„She's moving!! Her hand she just squeezed it. She's waking up!" I explained not taking my eyes away from my girlfriend.

„Are you sure it wasn't just a feeling? It can sometimes happen that the body tenses up."
The nurse asked and I looked up to them in disappointment.

„No she moved her hand. I swear. S-she's really waking up. It just takes time. Babe come on don't leave me hanging." I looked back to bre and after a moment of silence she started to cough.

„She's waking up. She wants to breathe on her own get the tube out now." the doctor informed the nurse and they put on some glows.

They removed the breathing tube from her mouth and she didn't stop coughing.

I squeezed her hand tighter and the nurse noticed that.

„The coughing is normal. She'll be fine." she gave me a Sympathetic smile.

I nod and looked back to Aubrey and she started to open her eyes. She's really waking up. I'm not dreaming. She's back with me.

Her eyes where slightly open not to wide but I finally saw theses brown eyes I fell for.
She looked around searching and I stroked her hand which made her look at me.

Her eyes got filled with tears and she gave me a soft smile so small that it almost wasn't noticeable. As if it was hard for her to smile.

„Hey babe it's me." her tears fell and so did mine she knows me. She's happy to see me which is good. Thank god she knows who I am. I wouldn't be able to do this again with the amnesia.
Once was to much already.

„Aubrey. I'm your doctor. You made it through a lot of ups and downs. How do you feel?" the doctor asked and she glanced to the side looking at the nurse and doc.

She just moved her thumb down to sign that she's feeling bad. She probably can't talk right now because she had that tube in her mouth and lung for a long time.

„We know talking will be better after you drink some water. Here take your time."
The nurse held a cup of water to her mouth since she's still to weak to move a muscle.
