Family dinner

Narrator POV

Family Montgomery was expecting something life changing and the kids didn't know what was coming for them. Tyler who is Gabriella's husband knows about Aubrey being here any time soon.
She informed her husband as soon as she said goodbye to Aubrey.

He was emotionally drained when she told him these news and he couldn't wait to see how his daughter has grown up. Both where filled with pure joy and knowing that Aubrey isn't coming alone makes them even more happy.

They are glad that she has found a person that will stick around with her for a long time.
Alex and Harley just came back from college and looked a bit surprised that Gabriella was so out of place.

Almost nervous but in a good way.

„Mom what's wrong? You seem a bit nervous?"
Alex asked as he poured himself a cup of water to drink.

„Oh nothing. We are actually expecting someone for lunch."

„Why didn't you tell us sooner? Who is it?" Harley asked as she drank from Alex's glas to tease him.

„Someone Special it's actually-." Gabriella got cut off by the door bell ringing.

„Their here. Wait let me open Ty." she made her way to the hallway opening the door to Aubrey and Lizzie standing next to her.

„Hey! Sorry that it was so shortly planed I hope we didn't disrupt your schedule." Aubrey and Gabriella hugged each other and it was lovely to watch.

„Gabriella This is Lizzie. Lizzie this is Gabriella."
Lizzie stretched her hand out but Gabriella pulled her in for a loving hug.

„So nice to meet you misses Montgomery."
Lizzie replied and Gabriella shook her head.

„Oh please. Call me Gabriella. Come on in it's cold outside." Lizzie and Aubrey walked in as Gabriella closed the door they took off their jackets and hung them up.

„We actually got you some wine. We didn't really want to come empty handed." Aubrey gave her the bottles and Gabriella took them with a huge smile.

„We can have some while lunch. That's lovely thank you."

„Come on in let's head to the living room. Tyler is so excited to see you both." she rubbed their backs as they walked through the hallway.

Aubrey anxiety went through the roof as her mother didn't mention her siblings.

„Aubrey." Tyler was getting chopped wood out of the garden. He placed everything down and clapped the dirt away resting on his hands and Flanell.

He moved up to her slightly taller and gave her a big bear hug. Aubrey hugged him silently and Lizzie saw how Aubrey's eyes became glossy. Her heart is filled with pure joy finally seeing her girlfriend happy.

„You must be Lizzie Right?" Lizzie nod and they shook hands formally.

„Tyler so nice to meet you." he introduced himself and Lizzie smiled nodding back at him.

„can somebody tell me who those people are? Because we definitely missed something!" everyone turned around seeing Alex and Harley stand there totally confused why everyone is so emotional.

„Hold on. Mom? What is Aubrey Mathews doing in our living room?" Harley asked in shock realizing who was standing there.

„Wait you know her?" Gabriella asked confused.

„Mom are you kidding? I listen to her songs all the time. Even Alex does it when he thinks nobody's watching." Alex gave Harley a side punch and she grinned wide.
