Lizzie was trying to rest from the accident but nothing seemed to calm her mind. Gabriella was sitting beside her and Tyler came in from time to time with Alex just to check on her as well.

Harley was still donating blood for her sister who was currently in surgery and everyone is raging on the inside. Lizzie had a clue who set the fire but she doesn't want to assume things. She needs evidence first and she's not sure if the letter survived that Aubrey received.
She might have took it with her but she's sure that the clothes of her are already somewhere stacked up.

„I believe it will take a while until we get any news on Aubrey's conditions. Honey I'll go and look after the gallery to check if I can find anything valuable for the interrogation." he stroked Gabriella's shoulder and she placed her hand on his.

„Sure. Take Alex with you. I don't want you to be there alone. Besides police might not even let you through. I'll keep you updated if we know more."
She replied and he nod.

„Before I go. Lizzie. Is there something important that Aubrey needs from there? Something I should look for if it's not burned down already?" he asked and Lizzie she shrugged her shoulders.

„Just look if there are any canvases in good shape. She dedicated her life to this place and she pushed so much work in it." the injured woman answered thinking that Aubrey will be on the ground of emotions when she sees her place fully damaged.

„I will see what the fire fighters have done so far. Maybes they have brought the good things out already. Come on Alex let's go." he walked off with Alex leaving the both behind.

„Do you want me to call anyone? Siblings, parents or friends?" she asked Lizzie and She shook her head.

„No I don't want my family to know I'm hospitalized and I don't want them to meet the parents of my girlfriend in the hospital. They didn't even meet Aubrey yet. God this is bad." She huffed out as She rubbed her eyes.

„It's fine you don't need to rush things. We will all meet when the time is right. Don't get your head wrapped up into this."

„Y'know she was so filled with joy when we where on our way back home from the first dinner we had together. Then the day when Harley was there she was so happy and I never saw her so pure and relieved. She's had it horrible back then. It was either her relationship that was breaking apart or her adoptive parents that made her life miserable."

„How have her relationships been before you?" she asked Lizzie and She didn't know if it was her place to tell.

„I'll be honest with you Gabriella my relationship with Aubrey had it's ups and downs and we both where breaking but we found our way back together and I know that I can't live without her for a single moment. She came out of a really toxic relationship before she met me. She was really fragile and had a lot of trust issues."

„Was she cheating on her?" she asked and Lizzie shook her head.

„Probably without letting Aubrey know. But he was really toxic and abusive..."

Her expression shifted into anger and sorrow to know that her daughter went through something like this.

„It's not my place to tell, but he beat her up one time and she was hospitalized as well with a lot of damage. He has a restraining order towards her and they went to college together still after what has happened. This happened after their break up and she was with me at the time. But she got away from him and he didn't do anything ever since."
